Lacks a bypass tray; you have to take out the paper and put envelopes in rather than putting them in a bypass slot. No fax and good; haven't had to send a fax in a decade. Prints fast. Scans fast but only single sided (app handles double-sided scanning.)

I can print documents on one page and using the auto duplex feature. I had to move the printer so that I could connect it to my wireless router using an Ethernet (RJ-45) cable. I was never able to connect the printer using the HP Smart app. I entered and reentered my Wi-Fi passwords multiple times, but the printer never connected. The HP troubleshooting features were useless in diagnosing and resolving the issue. (I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 connected to my wireless network.)

    The serial number and product number our found on a label inside the printer. It is on the lip where just below the lid you would lift to replace the toner. The user manual http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06759742.pdf shows the location on page 41.
