Rated 5 out of 5 by RCCC Office from Nice Printer! Super easy set-up. Fast, mostly quiet, too. Just don't leave a ream of paper on top, it needs to breathe. Excellent for Small Offices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marinaisak from Very impressive and efficient printer! I was very excited to try the HP LaserJet M209d Printer. As expected another positive experience with the HP brand. Their printers are always of the best quality. I use this printer mostly for my work needs, it does not print in color which I do not need since most documents are black/white. Pages print quickly, vibrantly and without making noise. An older laser printer I had from a different brand was very large in size and made a lot of noise. This printer is compact and great functioning. It does not print wirelessly with Wifi which is fine for me since I mainly print from one computer so its not an issue for me. Ive already printed a large amount of pages and still doing well on ink so I am happy it doesn't drain that cartridge quickly. I definitely plan to purchase another laser printer from HP like this, its been the best experience with laser printers Ive had thus far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nicoleyhn from Simple,Fast, and Reliable The HP LaserJet M209d is a solid little printer, especially if you just need something simple and reliable for black and white printing. Pros: Fast and Efficient: This printer is quick! It churns out papers at a really good speed(about 29 pages per minute),which is super handy if you’re printing lots of documents. Compact Size: It is small enough to fit on a desk without taking up too much space, which I appreciate since I don’t have a lot of room. Sharp Prints: The quality is the text is crisp and clean-perfect for professional documents. Cons: No Wireless Printing: It only connects via usb,so if you’re looking to print straight from your phone or laptop wirelessly, you are out of luck. No Color Option: It’s strictly black-and-white ,which might be a dealbreaker if you need color prints. Final Thoughts: If you just need a basic,no-frills printer for black-and-white documents, this is a great option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CodyP24 from Good fast black and white printer For basic black and white printing, this is a good choice. It prints quickly, and the text is crisp and easy to read. I would recommend this for everyday text printing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by joex420 from Solid printer The HP LaserJet M209d is a compact and efficient monochrome laser printer designed for small businesses or home offices. With impressive print speeds of up to 30 pages per minute and sharp, crisp text quality, it’s perfect for text-heavy documents. It features automatic duplex printing, saving time and paper, and supports Wi-Fi and mobile printing options like AirPrint and Google Cloud Print. The printer's low operating costs, thanks to high-yield toner cartridges, make it a cost-effective choice for frequent printing. While it lacks color printing and Ethernet connectivity, the M209d is a reliable, no-frills option for those who need fast, economical black-and-white printing.

can this be used for preprinted checks? Does the paper go in the tray face up?

    Asked by: dspur
Thank you for your question! All HP printers are capable of printing names and dollar amounts on premade check paper, you will just need to use check printing software for proper formatting. However, if you need to print full checks yourself, your bank will likely require the use of magnetic ink character recognition (MICR), which would require a modified HP printer and MICR ink/toner.
