I bought it as it scans both sides in one pass, but I miss the features the Fujitsu brings, meaning the auto-page orientation, auto page-length recognition and mostly, blank-page detection. I can't comment on the faxing as I am not setting that up, but based upon the copy capabilities, I would guess that faxing is also well done. So, just disappointed in the scanning.

I have learnt in my case that I don't need to print in color, that is better economically print with a laser and that don't want to deal with controlled ink supply.

    It will come with a 148 setup toner cartridge in the box that you will want to use first to make sure the printer can acknowledge and accept future toner. After you use up the 148 setup toner cartridge, you can replace it with the 148A which is the standard yield, or the 148X high yield toner.

    The HP Photosmart C6180 and the 02 inks have been discontinued. You can check with local retailers that sell HP ink to see if they have any of the HP 02 cartridges still in stock. The settings on the unit will give you a few maintenance options such as cleaning the printheads. The closest current replacement model for that unit is the ENVY Inspire 7955e https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-envy-inspire-7955e-all-in-one-printer which uses the 67 standard and 67XL two ink cartridge system.     Is this printer a color printer?

    Trying to print bar codes on vehicle vinyl and toner keeps smearing. I was specifically told this model would not do that. LaserJet Pro MFP 4104fdn. Any ideas what could be wrong or settings I should check? I have tried everything I can think of.

    How do I change the printer email address?

    Hello, Gary. Thanks for your question. In the HP Smart app, you would select "Account", then manage "HP Account". The Account Dashboard will appear. On this page, you would select "Owned printers" under the General section. On the next page, you would open the Printer Options of the printer you want to change. On the HP Smart page, you find the printer and select Change Settings. Scroll down the page to change the email address and submit.
