It malfunctioned within a couple of days after I installed it…good luck getting in the phone with someone who can help you. I would find a different model or brand.

When I call the tech department, they tried to help, but the printer is not working. They could not help and suggest that I return. I was then transferred to refund department. They issued return coversheet and I dropped it off at FedEx. It has been over two weeks and I am still waiting for my refund.

We run a small print shop with several enterprise level printers, and have been using the old M602s, which we have loved, but they are finally giving up the ghost. We replaced 2 of them with M611s, and could not be more pleased with their performance. SUPER FAST. We've been using them for 2 months now with no complaints. Plan to buy 2 more this summer as funds permit.

Does this use MICR toner for printing checks?

Hello. Thanks for your question. The HP LaserJet and Laserjet Enterprise printers and toners are not MICR compliant, as MICR check printing requires a modified printer and MICR toner. Does HP make a real high volume printer that feeds from the front? The 61x series is not reliable in heavy use environments. Issues with broken doors, trays and feed sections getting debris when legal paper is loaded.
