Very good MF color laser!
Once we got the printer set up, it works great. The only possible downfalls is the size of the paper drawer and the very small size of the input screen which we will adjust to. We are very pleased.

Very disappointed
Disappointed with this printer. It worked just fine for 2 months. After the last firmware update, the printer now just starts randomly printing a line or 2 of garbage on several pages of paper. I have contacted support several times. They sent 2 technicians, both of whom were unable to fix the problem. Then, the offered to send me a refurbished printer. I did not purchase a refurbished printer, and will not accept one as a replacement. Yet they will not offer me a new printer, which is what I paid for. Now I just keep getting thrown around in circles from one support person to another. We found our own work around, which was to turn off the TCPIP, and use UDP. The only problem with that, is we have 2 separate networks in our building, so I can't be connected to my own network in order to print. I probably won't be purchasing any more HP printers. Horrible customer service.

Poor drivers
The scanner driver continues to fail, having issues getting it to print in color and entire printer occasionally loses connection. I have a new Windows computer so that’s not the issue.

I thought laser printers used toner. This one says it uses ink cartridges like my inkjet printer. Why?

Regarding scanning documents with the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3401fdn Printer, do I see the feeder to scan multiple pages at a time on the top of the device? If so, is it capable of scanning double sided documents or just single sided? Thanks!
Hello. Thanks for your question. You can scan up to 50 pages through the ADF (Auto Document Feeder) on top of this Laserjet Pro 4301fdn printer. You can also scan double-sided documents through the ADF.

When using the scanner on the HP 4301FDN, does this printer come with the "Delete blank pages" feature that is found on HP Scanjet products?

Go to the Document tab and select Adjust documents.
In the Adjust documents dialog box, select Delete blank pages.
