Great tool for a small business!
This printer has been a game changer for my small business. I work almost exclusively from my cell phone and being able to use this in conjunction with the HP Smart app has increased my efficiency tremendously. From scanning, to printing invoices and shipping labels, it’s a one-stop shop.
The scanning and printing quality are both top tier. I like the touch screen interface as well, very easy to navigate and comprehend.
I highly recommend this to a small business looking to upgrade from your everyday desktop printer. It’s a high quality, powerful printer in a compact configuration.

There is nothing like this HP Printer..
I'm not very tech-savvy, so I was quite anxious about setting up my new HP Printer on my own. To my surprise, it took me less than fifteen minutes to unbox it, load paper, and connect it to my desktop computer and smartphone. The printer's features are fantastic! It can wirelessly print, scan, fax, and copy using WIFI Direct. The printer's menu notifies you when you're out of paper and performs automatic updates. The color of the copies it produces is stunning - the colors are spot on. As someone with little to no technical expertise, I'm thoroughly impressed by how easy it is to use. I'd highly recommend this LaserJet printer for both business and personal use. It's truly remarkable.myself. However, it took me less than fifteen minutes to unbox it, load it with paper, and connect it to both my desktop computer and my smartphone. The features are amazing! This laser printer is able to print, scan, fax, and copy wirelessly through WIFI Direct. The menu on the printer alerts you when you are out of paper and also gives itself automatic updates. The color of the copies I made was so beautiful - the color was spot on. Coming from someone with little or no technical experience, I was very impressed by how easy it is to use overall. I would recommend this LaserJet printer to anyone in a business setting or for personal use. It is extraordinary.

Excellent laser printer
We replaced an older HP laser (HP477), we like that it has a smaller foot print and does everything the old printer did. Set up had a few minor glitches, I didn't realize I had to go into the hardware configuration and enable two sided printing. Assumed that all I had to do was download software and go.
We are getting an annoying error message that it is low on paper, it is not, no paper jams, paper tabs set correctly. Called HP but it was not malfunctioning when I called, now has reappeared.
This is very similar to our old printer but does a better job printing. It uses less energy than the previous printer. Thanks

An Amazing Sharp Printer
First of all the packaging on this printer is impressive. It is a bit larger than first expected (and heavier). However, the functionality more than makes up for that. Easy to set up and get going with information provided on how to update firmware. An easy choice for those looking for an efficient printer. The noise level is also on the lower end for a printer of this caliber. When it comes to actual use, there is a multitude of ways to connect including the app which is fairly intuitive. The print quality is just as you would expect, top-notch from a printer at this price point and the speed of printing is also fair. It has all the features one would want, will be sure to keep this printer around for as long as it lasts!

What a great printer
It took me more time to unpack than it did to connect!
I had zero issues during the installation, everything went so well I was waiting for something to go wrong. It never did!
Print quality is outstanding and this printer works so much better than my old one.
I recommend this printer. We have a small non profit ministry and this printer will elevate our work product to a new level, making it look more professional.

Amazing Setup and Easy to Use
First off let me say that I was pleased about the packaging and I have been a big fan of the HP printers. This printer certainly did NOT disappoint me nor my wife. It was super easy to setup and was up and going in less than six minutes.
I was also very please with the features as you can scan things from the phone and send to the printer for printing. I found that this was difficult to do with my previous printer and very "clunky".
The color was absolutely amazing and the options are plentiful with this printer. We print a lot but never really had was impressed with the quality of the last ink jet printer we had so we went with a laser black and white. It was pretty good but this one blows the ink jet out of the water and the colors are so crisp and clear. The finish was good enough to actually put in a frame.
Overall, I am super pleased with the printer and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone that is looking to purchase their next printer. I am looking forward to years of service from the 3301SDW! This was one of the best purchases that we have made in several years.

Just Fantastic!
After unboxing, the display held my hand and walked me through the setup process. Next, I connected it to my computer and printed out a test page, all done under 5 minutes after plugging it in. I'm not used to having anything go so smooth when it comes to printers. I have pptsd (post printer traumatic stress disorder) as im sure anyone else reading this does as well. Setting up the Hp Smart app on my phone was just as effortless. It prints super fast and print quality is outstanding. Build quality feels premium and sturdy. It's pretty quiet, as far as printers go. I also tested the scanning, copying, and faxing functions and the printer does them all really well. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a new printer.

Today I will be writing to provide my insights on the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3301sdw Multi-Function Printer/Copier/Scanner.
Starting off, I can say that this device truly brings home the decades of HP experience in the printing market with top tier specifications and quality of materials that is mostly unmatched by their competitors.
The 3301sdw is oriented towards the SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) segment where a reliable, fast, and quality device is required and this device checks all the boxes.
Instead of going over specifications I'm going to call out the high points of my testing experience and even bring up a small issue I experienced to provide a true all around review.
First off, setup of the device was nearly flawless with the exception that in order to setup network connectivity you require a password which isn't detailed in any of the included documents. A quick visit to HP.com revealed the location of the password allowing me to setup network print capabilities which were swiftly detected by all systems on my network, Mac and PC.
From there, it's really your choice on just how deep you want to delve into the device menus and functions. With standard features working straight out of the box on all devices, including AirPrint from iPhone/iPad, the device is a perfect device for anyone wanting a 'just works' MFP. Individual toner carts make the extreme cost of toner manageable by only needing to replace what you need.
Quality is top tier, time till first page out is astonishing and often faster than I can walk across my home office to get. Document fed or flat bed scanning produce consistent, high quality results suitable for duplication or archival purposes all handled from a simple click of a button.
HP's onboard software, accessed via the touch screen, is well developed and mostly user friendly while the screen itself is very responsive to the touch allowing for accuracy and speed when navigating the menus.
Overall, I have shown off the device to multiple colleagues, friends, and family members and even let a few of them poke around the device and have received all positive responses based on it's usability and quality garne

Impressive compact printer
The printer was packaged well. It is pretty heavy for the size and needed my husband to help me take it out of the box. I like it’s simplicity. It was really easy to set up and being wireless is definitely a plus, no additional cables needed. As soon as I connected to WiFi, it was immediately available as an option on my iPhone. It is a little loud when it starts from sleep mode (but not as loud as my older printer) . I printed something small, and the print was clear and legible. I also printed a photo from my iPhone and there was an option to select the size and only took seconds to print. I am very impressed with this printer.

Excellent Small Business Printer
This printer is an excellent upgrade to my older HP. I set it up in less than 5 minutes! The instructions were very easy to follow and it connected to my WiFi right away. It prints very quick in B/W and Color and the quality is top notch! I utilize it for my small business and personal needs, and it has been working perfect for me so far. I am excited to continue using it for years to come. It’s an excellent value all around to be able to have the scan and copy feature as well. Thanks HP for another great product!

A really good laser printer
I recently upgraded from a old black and white laser printer to this new printer and it's a night and day difference. This printer prints fast and very quiet, it also doesn't take long to start up and stop. Quality of the printer are clear and color prints are pretty vibrant. Set up was really easy as toner was already installed in the box which I really appreciate and cut down on set up time. All you have to do is to turn it on and follow the instructions on the touchscreen. Touchscreen is super responsive and roomy enough where there's not mistakes navigating the menu. I do appreciate the connectivity of the printer with it's clean phone app and that I can easily print wirelessly anywhere in the house with my phone or through WiFi. Definitely recommend for a solid printer

Color Laser At A Reasonable Price
I remember purchasing my first color laser printer years ago. It was slow (4 ppm!), expensive, and loud. It's pretty nuts how much the product has improved. This printer has a first page time that is very quick, and the toner is easy to change, as it installs in the front and not the sides. Scanning is good with PDF and JPG options. The duplexer is very nice—a feature that used to be quite expensive and hard to get.
I do wish that HP were more open to 3rd party toner cartridges. It feels like this has been a battle for decades with some manufacturers supporting it more than others. HP definitely does not. Still, the printer is amazing, and I highly recommend it.

After months of searching for a replacement laser printer I think I've finally found the perfect product. The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3301sdw meets all my needs and so much more.
Setup of the printer was simple and fast. It found the wireless network immediately and within less than 30 mins I'd installed all the drivers and updated the firmware with no issues whatsoever.
I was a little concerned about the size of the printer when first unboxing, but it sits perfectly on my standing desk and does not look out of place as a home printer.
The printer is incredibly fast in both black and white and color. My wife who is a teacher could not believe the speed at which it printed dozens of worksheets for her students. The quality of the output is amazing even on basic copier paper. Lines are crisp, the definition is high, and colors pop from the page. The best I have seen in any previous printer I have owned.
One of the things I like most about this printer is the speed of double sided printing. It’s astonishingly fast – faster than single sided printing from my previous printer. Scan speed and quality is also impressive, and the HP apps make it easy.
If you are looking for a feature packed printer that does it all at speed and high quality then you cannot go wrong with the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP3301sdw.

AMAZING printer that is fully loaded!
The MPF 3301sdw Color LaserJet Pro by HP is a fully loaded and multifunctional printer that specifically targets small business owners and home user professionals. When I first picked up this box, I was initially surprised by the weight. At just over 45 pounds, this printer is built like a tank yet is compact enough to fit into tight spaces with a mere 16 inches in width. This fit perfectly on my stand. I could go into depth about all the features this printer is equipped with but I will just cover the basics. As a color laser jet, this printer is extremely fast compared to ink jets with 26 pages per minute. It is extremely quiet, in fact, if it wasn't right next to my desk, I wouldn't even know it printed anything. It will print double sided pages automatically, I tested it and couldn't be more impressed. Trying to double side print on a printer that doesn't support it and get the orientation right is an extremely frustrating experience! The touchscreen is easy to navigate and a very bright display that turns off when not in use. The scanner is very clear and fast as well. With HP's Smart apps (Windows Mac, iOS and Android), you have a seamlessly integrated experience although several features are locked behind a paid subscription (particularly on mobile). However, having an Android phone, I can print without the need of using the mobile app due to the full functionality of Wi-Fi print in both Windows and my Google Pixel 8 Pro Android phone.
The only downside with this model is it doesn't feature fax. But then again, in 10 years, I never used the fax feature on my previous printer. Does anyone use fax these days? If that is a problem than HP has a model with that feature thrown in the mix but with modern day emailing and a few inches shorter, I think the 3301sdw is a must have for the small business owners or home users who want a professional printer for their needs!

Need help with scanning and protection package
The printer set up fairly easy. We're still trying to figure out how to scan 2-sided documents. We have yet to receive any documentation on our protection plan that we purchased. I've communicated a few times and they tell me it is registered. I kept that email for proof if we need to call in. That's really the main reason for the 3-star; that and the scanning issue. Color copies looks great.
Staff response to Scanning. I put the sheet in. It takes up to 5 mins to suck it in and scan on the desktop and laptop; neither is faster than the other. Finally sucks the paper up and scans and then appears in the file on the chosen computer. Sometimes I have to hit it more than once. Tried to look in printer settings for 2 sided scans. Tried to look in app settings for 2 sided scans. Last week it wasn’t scanning. I hit it a few times and then refed the paper in 3 times and it must have merged the files 1-1-1 showed up together as a 3 page scan. I am not sure I could re-create that; it just happened.

HP Color LaserJet Pro 3301fdw a Home Need
My husband replaced our inkjet printer with an HP Color LaserJet Pro 3301fdw, and it's been a game-changer for us. We had numerous issues with our old inkjet printer:
1. Ink Dries/Clogs the Print Head
- We had to keep cleaning and wasting paper and ink to get the print quality just right.
- We had to print at least every other day to prevent the ink from drying out.
2. Sleep Mode Doesn't Wake Up
- We often needed to unplug and plug the printer back in to make it active on our network.
Now, with the new HP LaserJet, those problems are gone. Here’s what we love about it:
1. Speed
- The print speed is noticeably faster than our old inkjet.
2. Double or Single-Side Printing
We can choose to print on both sides or just one side of the paper, which saves on paper.
3. HP Smart App - Print from Your Phone
- The HP Smart app is easy to use, and I print more from my phone than from a desktop or laptop.
4. Color and Quality
- There's a significant difference between an inkjet and a laser printer. The colors and sharpness are much more vibrant and precise.
5. Scanning
- Scanning is fast and clear and offers many options, such as scanning to copy, PDF, or phone.
Overall, upgrading to the HP Color LaserJet Pro 3301fdw has been extremely positive. Whether for working from home or our kids' projects, this printer easily supports our needs.

A Failure of your Support Team
printer was advertised with software that would enable print from anyware. I was advised by Senior Tech support the update has yet to be available to units sold in USA. They advised the new "update would be available 6/23-24. As of 6/30 I have not heard from senior Tech sipport despite my writing and requesting a status.

Great device but with set up frustrations
This was an update purchase to an older model. So we expected that getting it set up would not be difficult. However, after days of trying myself, I had to call an IT expert to our home who also spent an hour and a half trying to get our machine set up. We read every troubleshoot notation online. Downloaded every software suggestion. The scan function was the most difficult to figure out. Also the device itself continuously times out making the process even more frustrating. In the end, we are finally up and running but I think the windows 11 may have caused the issues we dealt with, so those still need to be ironed out to make the set up less complicated. It appears to be otherwise a great machine.

I am a small business owner who was looking for a printer & scanner that was color, compact & had a wireless Wi-Fi connection. The HP Color Laser Jet Pro checks all these boxes. The setup process was SUPER easy. It took less than 10 minutes. I used the LCD touch screen to connect to my WIFI network. I love being able to connect to this using the wireless network. This printer’s size is perfect for a small business owner because it does not take up a lot of room on your desk.
You can use all paper sizes with this printer, however, there is only one paper tray that fits letter size. If you need to print with legal size, you must feed the paper through a slot (which is not ideal) but works fine.
This is a very solid printer with enough functions to use as your main printer for your small business.

Best Color Laser Printer on the Market
I am a teacher and need to have access to a printer that is fast an offers many different features. I like the ability to choose have have my document printer in color when I need to print out my classroom posters, in order to make them stand out. I also like the ability to print out my worksheet so that I can easily take them an make copies if needed. The convenience of the scanner allows me to be able to scan documents that I may need to share with my administration or parents. Great Muti Functional Printer!
Having never purchased or used a Laser printer before, I was very excited to setup and start using the HP LaserJet Pro 3301. I am happy to report that I am extremely satisfied with its performance. The setup process was fairly easy, and I was able to start printing within minutes. The print quality is exceptional, producing sharp and professional-looking documents, flyers, brochures, business cards or whatever I need printed. The graphics are incredible! The printing tray adjusts to fit all different sizes so that is nice. I am in the design business so I never know what I will be designing next! The printer is fast and efficient, saving me valuable time, especially when I have a lot to print!! I appreciate the printer's connectivity options, allowing me to print from various devices with ease. Additionally, the printer's compact design is a space-saver, packing a lot of punch in a regular sized printer. Super Easy and Quick
I was waiting for a good color double sided wifi printer for my KG kids’ art related stuff and drawing. She does need lot of prints for her art class. When I got this printer, I initially thought of Researching a lot to setup and all, but to my pleasant surprise, it was super quick and easy for a person who is not into much of tech. And immediately we are able to print from phone wirelessly and the prints were super quick, without much noise and got good quality. I loved this. It doesn’t appear bigger as I initially thought before buying. My kid was super happy with this and she is able to print all by herself from our phones and her tablets. We tried to print photos as well which are pretty good. I recommend this!!

Printing is fast and accurate. Fast first-page output and high page-per-minute performance in black and full color means you won’t be waiting long for your printouts. Black text printouts are incredibly sharp. The color accuracy when printing in full-color mode beats many other color laser printers I’ve owned from Canon, Brothers, Xerox, and others. There’s an automatic print duplexer and a manual paper tray feeder for envelopes and special media. There are also individually changeable color toner cartridges available in two capacities.
The Automatic Document Feeder makes copying easy and accurate. Although the ADF doesn’t feature an auto-duplexer, the scanning feature is fast and accurate. It reproduces text without blurring. Colors copies don’t have that traditional dramatic, overexposed-looking changes you get with other competing multifunctions. Note that the platen glass is sized for letter, not legal-sized paper.
Scanning and faxing are handled exclusively through the HP Smart app for desktop and mobile, making it easy to print from anywhere to this connected device or scan from this multifunction to a cloud service.
