When i can get connected to it, it is nice as i can print from anywhere in my house to two hours away in another town. Then sometimes I cant connect to it. I'm sure it is something I'm not doing right, but it usually happens after a storm when the power goes out. It's like I have to go through a set up again and I forget how. The instructions are not clear. I'm currently experiencing this again.

Lacks a bypass tray; you have to take out the paper and put envelopes in rather than putting them in a bypass slot. No fax and good; haven't had to send a fax in a decade. Prints fast. Scans fast but only single sided (app handles double-sided scanning.)

I can print documents on one page and using the auto duplex feature. I had to move the printer so that I could connect it to my wireless router using an Ethernet (RJ-45) cable. I was never able to connect the printer using the HP Smart app. I entered and reentered my Wi-Fi passwords multiple times, but the printer never connected. The HP troubleshooting features were useless in diagnosing and resolving the issue. (I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 connected to my wireless network.)

I recommend looking at the HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4101fdwe Printer, this printer has a USB host or Walk Up port that would allow you to print from a USB flash drive.

    Can the auto duplex printing be easily disabled to print single-sided pages?

For Windows: The easiest way to get to the "Printer Preferences" is through the printer and scanner settings. From the start menu, type printer, and scanner settings. Once you get there, look for your printer. Click on it. Then Manage. Then, printer preferences. Go to "Print on Both Sides" and toggle to "None". Finally, select Apply.
