Lacks a bypass tray; you have to take out the paper and put envelopes in rather than putting them in a bypass slot. No fax and good; haven't had to send a fax in a decade. Prints fast. Scans fast but only single sided (app handles double-sided scanning.)

I can print documents on one page and using the auto duplex feature. I had to move the printer so that I could connect it to my wireless router using an Ethernet (RJ-45) cable. I was never able to connect the printer using the HP Smart app. I entered and reentered my Wi-Fi passwords multiple times, but the printer never connected. The HP troubleshooting features were useless in diagnosing and resolving the issue. (I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 connected to my wireless network.)

    HOW DO I SCAN multiple documents WITH THIS PRINTER?

    Hello. Thanks for your question. You would need to scan the first page in the HP Smart app. Once that page is scanned, you can add a page in the app. You would repeat until all pages are scanned. If you want to be able to scan multiple pages, we recommend looking at the HP Laserjet m234sdw printer. It has the ADF (Auto Document Feeder) on top that would allow you to scan up to 40 pages at a time.

The HP 134X Black High Yield Toner Cartridge a yield of approximately 2,400 pages, which is about twice the yield of the standard HP 134A cartridge.

    Can I send documents to this printer from other remote networks, if using the HP Smart App?  I believe it is called “Print Anywhere”?  I want to make sure I can send documents to this printer while I am away from home.

    That now requires the HP Smart Advance app which HP+ models give you access to if you opt-in for HP+ and only a few non-HP+ models have access to it. The HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4101fdw https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-laserjet-pro-mfp-4101fdw-printer is a model that has access to the HP Smart Advance app without being an HP+ model.
