Backlight button to turn on, and can keep pressing to adjust brightness. Has no sensor, so stays on unless you turn it off, which is fine for me. Keyboard is very quiet as well. A professional keyboard with number pad, and not a gaming type keyboard.

The HP 400 Backlit wired keyboard is supposed to be ready to use. Serial # IC134734C2, Product # 7N7C0AA#ABA, why would the keyboard not work after connecting?
