When I initially took the printer out of the box, it was a lot bigger than I expected. I needed help to move it to a location in my office, lol. I have compared the prints to my HP Envy Photo printer that I currently have in my office and the colors are just as vibrant. I have not used the printer to its full capacity, but I am satisfied with the product so far. The printing is silent and comes out at a good pace. The only thing I can say I don't like is the noise it makes at the hinges when lifting up the top to use the scanner. I'm going to assume that because the printer is new, eventually, after multiple uses, the noise will fade away. I am an HP lover and my HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e has not disappointed me yet. I would definitely recommend it as a purchase to try.

The Perfect Printer!
I think I have finally found a printer to fall in love with! The HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e is exceeding all of my expectations. It took less than 10 minutes to setup out the box, including wireless connection, firmware updating, and alignment test printing. The included and online instructions were both simple and easy to follow.
Total highlights for me are the wide format printing and scanning capabilities, the variety of other paper size selections, the amount of paper it'll hold in the 2 paper trays (about 250 each), and the amazing printing speed! Regardless of what I was printing - documents, photos, presentations - whether color or black and white, the clarity was sharp and colors popped. HP's claim of up to 24 b/w and 20 color pages per minute have so far proven to be true, which is a great time saver to me. And I can print directly from my iPhone and iPad without missing a beat.
Another much appreciated feature is the printer's capability to do double-sided scanning. Not having to manually flip the pages is a wonderful and the scan quality is outstanding!
Be warned that this printer has a nice size footprint at 23-inches wide, 15-inches high, and 18-inches to 28-inches deep depending on how far out you extend the paper catcher. I had to put it on its own stand instead of my desk, but a totally irrelevant inconvenience considering how fantastic this printer is! Overall, it performs beautifully and is very efficient. Now, if the printer itself was black instead of white, it would truly be the perfect marriage to my home office.

Easy to use!
I purchased this printer to use as part of my home office. I was a little nervous about the set up since I’m used to having access to the IT guys at work, but it was super easy! It was basically pull it out of the box, plug it in, take the tape off, and then the app walked through the easy steps of loading paper and the ink. It included HP+ which allows you to print from anywhere, which is an extremely handy feature to have! The print quality and speed was also great!

Great Printer
This replaced a smaller HP home printer. Setup was very easy. Printing went very fast once setup. I did not have photo paper but printed on paper and was very impressed with the quality on basic paper. The HP Smart app is easy to use and I love the big touchscreen. Wow, I can now print from my laptop, cellphone and tablet. This is a big rugged ALL IN ONE, so if you print a lot, this unit is the one to purchase. It comes with 3 months of ink and the black replacement is $41 and has a yield of 1250 standard pages. It has a rated black print speed of up to 22 per minute and 18 PPM for color.
Just make sure you have the space for it, it does have a big footprint and is built to last not like a sub $200 printer.
It had the easiest wireless printer setup I have done using the HP Smart App.

Large and almost in charge
I was happy to upgrade my printer to the Officejet Pro 9730e. The printer has a beautiful wide scanning bed for larger than normal documents/pictures to scan. The paper trays also accommodate legal size paper without the tray, or paper, sticking out of the side of the printer; the paper is nicely contained in the trays. The lcd screen on the printer is large and has beautiful colors. The UI on the lcd screen, and printer via embedded web server, is much different than previous models. I am still getting used to the new printer UI, and software. As soon as I turned on the printer, it immediately tried to update the firmware once it connected to the internet....and it failed miserably. On the second attempt to update the firmware, after restarting the printer, it updated smoothly. Something new that is also different, while sending a new job to the printer over my wireless network, the printer has recognized some ways to optimize the speed and quality of printing and communicated via pop-up and requested confirmation to perform the optimizations. I have not dug into what the optimizations are, or if there were any differences in print jobs. I am still having fun with the printer, but what I can tell you is it prints smoking fast, it is much quieter than earlier Officejet Pro models, and it is very large. I would recommend picking up the 9730e if you are looking for an upgrade or just need a printer that can do everything!

Amazing for small office work
The HP OfficeJet Pro is amazing for my home office work. It is sleek and has everything I need while being compact enough to not take up a large amount of space. The touch screen is easy to navigate while I can also use my laptop and phone to operate the printer as well. It connected to all of my devices effortlessly on WiFi and made it easy to streamline printing and scanning for both work and my children. This is a definite must have for a busy home office that needs the full capability of a office full of equipment within one printer.

Great Value
This Printer is super easy to setup, took about 10 minutes from start to finish on my mac. As you can see from the photo the printer is very large but it does come in a very sturdy bag with handles to lift it out of the box. Still because of the weight you may want to plan to have another set of hands to help with unboxing and placement. I think the weight is a good attribute thought because the printer seems to be built well, and the heavy weight keeps in where you put it!
The touch screen is very responsive and the menu is intuitive. It’s easy to navigate through all the options. Printing is very fast.
I really appreciate the 2 paper trays! I think that's unusual for a printer at this price point - a very nice bonus. Paper is easy to load and feeds very well I've used 24lb plain paper, and the hp advanced photo papers so far with no issues at all. prints came out great on the first try.
This printer comes with 3 free months of instantInk - I’ve never used this service before but I opted to sign up for the service during my setup - you can chose not to if you prefer.
I did receive this printer at a reduced price in order to do an honest review. Even so, I think it's well worth the asking price. I am very happy with the printer.

I am really satisfied with my purchase. The Hp OfficeJet pro 9730e’s performance is far beyond my expectations and delivers more capabilities than I anticipated. This is an upgrade from an inkjet printer and the speed, quality and power of this laser-jet printer surpasses the other one times 50. I did a lot of research and comparisons to find the best HP laser-jet printer that offers WiFi capabilities, scan to file and mobile printing before purchasing and was pretty confident this was the one. It is! Very easy to set up and very easy to use. Downloading the app to my smartphone, desktop, laptop was an easy two step process and provides a convenient way to print from my devices. I like the modern touch and feel that the touchscreen display provides, giving the printer a sleek and classy look and style. And what I value the most is the speed. I can print 20 pages via email from another room in a matter of a few seconds. The Hp Officejet 9730e is a solid upgrade to my home office and I am definitely happy.

Quick Printing and XL Scanner
I've had this HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e for about a week and so far it has met my printing/scanning needs.
I find it is more than adequate to take care of the shipping labels that are the majority of what I print. I've also expiramented with a couple photos & find it to be great for that as well. I do wish this had the refillable ink tanks or was laser, but hopefully the standard ones will last a while. If you're running a business and need paper trays as large as the ones on this, you probably won't be looking at inkjets.
The star of the show and what drew me to this machine above all others is the scanner. I recently acquired my family's photo albums which are bigger than standard size combo machines. The HP is large enough to do a full page at a time and will allow me to get everything digitalized without problem. I found the included software easy to work and setup was a breeze.
I definitely would reccomend this for anyone who will need an extra large scanner in their small business. The machine appears to be very well built and I expect it will last for years to come.

Great printer!
Very pleased with the print quality of my new HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e. It was very easy to set up and get connected to my wifi. The only drawback to it is the size. When the box was delivered, I was shocked! It took 2 people to get it out of the box! It is quite large, although the basic footprint as far as area on the table wasn’t that much larger than the printer I was replacing. The ease of use, cost of use, ability to print and scan 11x17, and print quality definitely outweigh the large size! Very pleased , definitely recommend for small business users!

All members of our little business are surprised with this All-in-One Printer. It prints very nicely and cost for the unit was very good. It's very easy to set-up via HP website and very easy to fix an issue that may arise such as paper jam, out of paper, ink low - just very user friendly! You also have an email address for your printer so you can email directly to it from anywhere - very efficient and print immediately or once you get in the office. We got it for it's professional quality printing with more effective pricing on ink cartridges rather than toners and they come XL size for longevity! You can print either 8 x 11 Letter or 8 x 14 Legal documents with ease. You have two drawers to load all paper in - so when one drawer runs out, the 2nd picks up printing. We loved this unit and recommend!

Say Goodbye to Print Shops
I am so impressed with this printer! As a cartographer, I wanted a large format printer to printing maps and it is a luxury I have been wanting. It's also a nice all around printer. Yes, the printer is large and heavy but the build is solid with a nice design.
Set-up was a breeze, probably the easiest printer I have set-up so far. I followed the instructions, used the app, and I was up and running in less than 10 minutes. This process is a major improvement.
In addition to being able to print wide format (A3), the printer is also packed with features. The display is outstanding and easy to navigate. Copies and scans were crisp and clean. The color is ideal. While I am connected via Wifi, it does have an ethernet port as well. I haven’t tried the mobile fax feature but it’s good to have as well. Printing is also fast and pretty quiet.
One thing to keep in mind is that when A3 paper is in the printer, the paper tray does not close completely. The user guide does mention this but I am sharing as well (also see picture).
I had a specific purpose for this printer and it does the job and goes beyond.
Absolutely no regrets on this purchase.

This thing is FAST!!
Came from a brother laser printer to this Ink Jet as I needed higher quality/DPI. Was worried about the Print Speed coming from a laser printer. Let me tell you, this thing is FAST. It prints color pages almost as fast with full quality. Client presentations look amazing, crystal clear.
The scanner bed is fast and works with Mac. No need to install drivers, etc.., works right out of the box and I can scan 1200 DPI.
Highly recommend this printer. Wide format is great, using HP paper is recommended as you can change the settings to the paper you've loaded.

I got a HP9730e Wide format printer And let me tell you....Wow this is a really great printer. This thing is a BEAST !! Replaced my years and years old 9025e. Nice that it comes with 3 months of ink (basically to get started and used to it). Its fast, has a nice design. Ive copied lots on it. LCD Display is nice and colorful and shows all that is going on and is a LARGE Screen so no eye squinting. Perfect for large printing (as its a wide format). Ink/colors are Crisp and Vibrant. Photocopying is really super fast to !!

Perfect printer for home or small office
The HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e is a monster printer. It is very easy to setup. Took about a half hour to set up. It has exceeded my expectations. I have tried all the functions and it worked flawlessly. The print quality for photos is terrific. Took a while to figure out that you have to print photos from tray 1 as there is no option for photo paper in tray 2. Once I figured that out it was really easy to scan and print photos. Printing documents is super fast! Printing photos also is quite fast but takes a little longer. I would 100% recommend this printer for anyone that prints a lot of documents and pictures. Also the ink is reasonable priced with the instant ink program that HP offers. Would also recommend signing up for that service. You will never run out of ink if you do.

This printer is quite big. It's heavy and needed two people to lift. It's a good printer for small businesses. There are 2 paper trays, each holds one ream of paper. The ink was easy to install. The set up was simple. Step by step instructions are included. The app also provides step by step. Prints fast and without and blurriness. The print is crisp and clean. I like the touch screen. My favorite part is the wireless printing. I can print from anywhere. I can be in another state and send something to the printer. So far, I'm pleased and impressed.

I've tried so many printers over the years and this is by far the best. We are starting a small business and it has been absolutely perfect. Lots of useful features, great print quality, double sided available. Initial set up took some time buy with so many features it makes sense and was worth it. The app is really helpful and make printing super easy. My teenage daughter used it to print a whole bunch of images to decorate her bedroom wall with and the quality was so good. I100% recommend this printer!!!!!

Easy setup and amazing color prints
Setup/Installation:
The setup was very easy. I followed the instructions using the HP Smart app, and was able to set it up within 15 mins. I only had one issue where I had to jiggle the cartridge during setup.
Print Quality:
I'm very happy with the color print quality! I used both Matte(8.5 x 11) and Glossy(5 x 7) papers to test it out. I'm planning to use Glossy papers for family albums and wall decors, and Matte paper for fun projects or custom greeting cards!
