    Rated 2 out of 5 by OMG! from No printer ink control. HP Smart is a joke. Dumbed down AIO Cannot control print lightness, darkness or do printhead maintenance of any kind. That feature has been completely removed from all menus and in printer properties! Printing really wets the paper with ink and prints, especially colored prints are over inked. Intant ink calculates a whole page for just an extra line of text. Printer tray is flimsy. You have to open the printer to get the PIN for any kinf of information through HP Smart. the printer egisters a cartige change every time you open it for the PIN. HP Smart is anything but Smart. It's dumb and insulting to someone who wants the option of having even minimal control over print quality and maintenance. Calling it an All in One is a strech. Buyer beware. Website acount, my devices doesnt work properly. Even if I were interested in a better printer, I'm not anymore.

At tax deadline time, my HP all in one 8139E which was only a few months old The document feeder completely stopped working so I couldn’t scan anything in to send to my tax guy I contacted HP and after a couple of hours on the phone it was determined that They couldn’t fix the problem. They sent me out a refurbished printer that only printed pink. I just didn’t have the time to get the replacement and set it up. So I dealt with that until I was pulling my hair out. I decided to just purchase another printer instead of dealing with whatever they would send me next. It’s been two months now and Ive got my new printer working finally. I had to set aside the time to return THREE printers up and down stairs. packing them up, taking them to the return centers. For some reason everything had to be input several times over the course of days to get it to hook up properly and work with my devices. I have now bought two HP printers within the course of several months. HP offered me a fractional refund wich I’m still waiting for. Way too much wasted time and frustration. I’m 60 years old. I started with an HP COMPUTER and PRINTER when computers first came out. I have been a loyal customer for 25 years but I’m so disappointed at all the the confusion and frustrated at the final results. I’m left to feel as tho being a loyal customer means nothing at all anymore. What was I thinking??

With the windows 11 update HP disabled my driver and forced me to purchase a new printer. The new printer it's the most cumbersome I've experienced. The paper tray doesn't have a way of locking in the size and when it slips when you close the tray it detects a larger size paper. The printer cartridges don't like to stay in place they pop out. Unless you are using the HP smart app on your PC the features the printer is supposed to have are not accessible such as two-sided printing.. I'm very disappointed in the way HP is changing their way of doing business. The quality of this printer is nothing like my old one. There is a notable change in everything they are doing and it's very disheartening. HP used to be the best on the market

    any printer that uses ink cartridge 950 + 951?

    Thank you for your interest in the HP printers. At this time there is not a current unit that uses the 950 and 951 ink cartridges. Units like the OfficeJet Pro 9125e and OfficeJet Pro 9135e that would replace the models that use those cartridges, do have HP+, which is a free service for those units, you do get free months of Instant Ink if you opt-in during the setup.

    duplex scanning?

    Hello. Thanks for your question. The HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e printer's auto document feeder (ADF) on top does not support automatic two-sided copying or scanning. If you want to be able to do double sided copying scanning through the ADF on top, we recommend looking at the HP Officejet Pro 9125e and 9135e printers.
