Good for price
I bought this computer because it was a good price and i no longer need power. I use for personal office documents and streaming. Only (but major) weakness is the touchpad/mouse. I may have to click several times to put the cursor where i want. And the cursor will frequently jump to a different spot in word or exce, documents.

Not user friendly
Too much push to sign up to pay for office360 for ever. Not user friendly. Pinning vs Pinning, sight saving? , creating shortcuts.

Disappointing Customer Service
Love the laptop, however the mouse I ordered along with the computer did not have the usb connector and customer service is unreachable! Disappointing

HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC
Great pc to have. Nice to customize they way you want it from ram, video card, drive and os. ordered this when it was practically half off. Comparable systems at bestbuy would have cost at least 2K.

Almost 5 stars except for...
My former HP laptop is 11 years old & still working but not up-gradable to Windows 11. After researching HP laptops, I customized this one for my basic needs. It works ok except for:
1- Windows 11 is dumb. Microsoft has unnecessarily moved many functions around from Windows 10. It took me TOO long to customize it to what Windows 10 offered.
2- The backlit keyboard wouldn't stay lit. I called tech support. Don't expect to understand the person you get. They all have thick accents and it took a while before we finally got this resolved.
3- My backup software created a boot disk and my old HP found it just fine. HOWEVER, my new laptop wouldn't find it at all. HP support was difficult to understand and then they wanted $75 to resolve it. WHAT??? RIDICULOUS! Fortunately, my backup software company helped me fix the issue FOR NO COST!!!
Many of the negatives are not the fault of the actual laptop. Once I got past the above problems, it works GREAT so I'll give HP props for that.

Recommend HP Computers
I use my HP to surf the web, photos and pay bills. It’s fast, light and much improved compared to my 12 year old HP. I’m not a computer geek and it serves my needs. My wife and I have been using HP computers for 50 years.

Only partially functional; HP will not fix
Seems to be a decent laptop for basic web surfing. Beyond that not so great. I needed to be able to use the virtual COM ports Windows automatically sets up in the USB ports as needed. I connected a USB-to-Serial cable and Windows found and configured a COM port easily. Unfortunately, some part of the bloatware HP sticks on the machine ties up the COM ports and no other application can use them!
HP Support told me I would have to PAY them to make the COM ports work properly, so the unit is being returned. HP did accept the return request and I will be getting a full refund.

Pretty Mid Overall
The laptop by all means gets the job done, I got it with the idea that I could get it for school and that it would do fine, which it does.
One of the biggest issues was that my order was placed in late December, and it ended up getting delayed twice (2 weeks) from the original estimated ship date, though when order tracking it would go from assembled, tested, then somehow goes to not even assembled anymore? If I would've known it would get delayed 2 weeks past the original ship date, I would've upgraded a bit.
My CPU, the Athlon Silver, is a very bare bones processor and it can for the most part handle everything fine. It's nothing good if you want to run a game or two aside from some old websites, and even then it struggles a bit. You can pray for good luck trying to do anything while launching simple software because multitasking is not its strong suit. Had I known I would've been delayed by 2 weeks, I would've without a doubt upgraded.
Overall it isn't bad and makes itself a solid choice if you're looking for something that can absolutely crush google docs and like 8 tabs.

Good product, but the keyboard is uncomfortable
It's not my favorite laptop, but does the trick without glitches and it was a great price. The thing I've been finding hardest to adapt to is the keyboard. It has the number pad on the left, which is something I'm used to, but for whatever reason it feels like the alphabet keys are crammed too far left of center. The space bar is to the left of the touch pad. My right hand was constantly hitting the wrong keys until I put a few added touch points with puffy fabric paint to keep it from drifting.

HP Laptop 15-fc0047nr, Windows 11 Home
I was extremely impressed with my selection of laptop. Basically, setting up was easy. I would definitely recommend any prospective customer(s) to purchase directly from a hp store rather than other stores and/ websites. The customer service team was there from date of order to delivery stages. They ensured that as a customer, you were satisfied with the product. Hp follow up and feedback procedures are commendable. In order for Hp to meet its aims, goals and objectives to its customers, feedback plays a pivotal role in improving its service delivery capabilities.

Would be great for students!
This laptop is so thin and light despite the large screen size! It is worth getting a few upgrades in the customization tab (12gb RAM and 256gb ssd), and the backlit keyboard was worth paying extra. If you are tech-savvy, you can open up the back replace the ssd with an alternative with more memory easily for cheap. I am no longer a student, and got this for writing and portability, but I wish I had this when I was in college. So far I have used it for writing, light gaming, and surfing the internet/streaming. It has met my needs with no issue.
