Very fast.
The new laptop works as expected. I do wish it had come with a backlit keyboard. Then came the way W11 Pro immediately tried to upload my files from my backup drive to OneDrive. But, that is on Microsoft.

Piece of junk!
This computer does not work with Zoom virtual backgrounds without a green screen. It is 2023 and so many people work remotely, and who has a green screen laying around their house? Completely unacceptable. This computer does not pass basic technology checks for remote jobs. It is a piece of garbage. To top it off, the touch pad randomly gets stuck and won’t click, then magically unsticks and works, on and off perpetually. There is a random clicking sound happening as well.

Great laptop & price
Needed a new laptop for personal use for emails, basic internet use, creating documents & a way to see photos up close again rather than on my phone!
I've only had it a few weeks, but so far so good!

Unable to try new computer
Got my computer the first day and the image screen had problems. After two hours on the phone with support, where they were very patient trying to work through it, but wasn't solved. Now needing to send my computer back in, with the back and forth it'll probably be a month before I can use the system that I bought.

This is a successor to an older HP laptop. It is much faster, and has more capacity. However, I did not pay attention to the graphic processor when I ordered. It turns out that I should have purchased more horsepower in the graphic processor. Result, I am unable to have a virtual background or blur my background when using Zoom.

battery life
it’s a really good laptop but i’ve noticed the battery life is not wonderful. it’s not like i have to charge it every time i use it but it does drain fairly quickly. i would say it’s definitely still worth getting but just be aware that you might have to charge at least every other day or everyday if you’re using it for long periods of time.

Love my HP laptop
Love the laptop. It looks beautiful, is speedy, isn’t loaded with ads and unwanted apps, and buying from HP was a breeze. I like the use of minimal plastic in the packaging. I’m still getting used to having a keypad on the right. I like it, but I’m always one letter to far to the right when I start typing since center of the mousepad is not where the G and H keys are.

Great Laptop!
So far, so good with this laptop! It's the perfect size and acts a lot like the last laptop that I had (EliteBook 850 G5), but with more memory and a faster processor. It has been great so far, and Windows 11 isn't much different from 10. I got it for a good deal, given the sale they had when I bought it. Let's hope it stays amazing for many more years to come!

Great Unit For The Price
This laptop has everything I need. The resolution is great and I didn't need to tweak it in anyway. Set up was easy and quick. Personalization was a breeze. Moving the taskbar from the center to the left was easily accomplished in the taskbar settings. The sound on this laptop is incredible. I don't need add on speakers. There are two USB- A/ one USB-C /HDMI are more than enough for my needs. If you need more, adding a hub is inexpensive.
This is a great entry level laptop as well as a great product for seniors such as I am who use it primarily for reading and web surfing.

good/cheap laptop
Very fast shipping, although I would not recommend the jet black color; the plastic is pretty flimsy and the $20 upgrade to metal exterior is definitely worth it for longevity.

Great Laptop!
This is a great laptop. I bought it to use, primarily, for online classes and it works well for me. It’s not too heavy, the screen is bright and clear, and the speakers have great sound quality for listening to lectures.

my second HP
I bought this primarily for digitizing.
In other words, copy definitions of words, reread them on a big 50 inch TV.
So HEAVILY relying on the connection from computer to TV AND an external drive.
My external drive through the tiny, but powerful “c” cable.
The bad part is it’s easy to overstress the connection and ruin it.
Which I did.
Also dropping a hard drive in water for 3 seconds.
The stressed connection this computer will project to a 50 inch screen.
My watered hard drive was a disappointment, taking even longer to transfer data on a damaged drive.
However: the new 6 terabyte drives work so fast it makes my head spin (comparing it to other computers).
I hoped the greater power of a more expensive computer would solve everything.
It does solve things on a 6 terabyte hard drive.
And external 6 (I bought) DVD/CDs playing through the USB port, virtually turning things into a 5 DVD/CD changer that will play in a small space, versus the large flat version that takes up space.
I haven’t explored the more numerous and additional powers yet and only (I’m only) concentrating on the activities and the computer astonishes me with it’s speed, about 2 Xs faster than my $100 or $200 computers.
I wrote this before: my first $600 computer I put on a pedestal, even locked it in the safe and used it infrequently (I didn’t want it stolen, damaged and more) this is my second $600 computer and I do have more need for it and it’s: wow.
So fast and helpful and raises morale to study because it works the speed of my mind thinking.
No more waiting for this definition to return to the screen, which is why I bought an expansion drive.
I let myself down, it let me down, spending (I dropped it) in the water for 3 seconds.
It decrease in performance and would have missed its ending of service but, by the time this $600 computer arrived and was used for a week I found and defined the undefined word I had been looking for for 4 years, 2019 to now.
(defining “flag”,
mark (an item) for attention or treatment in a specified way.)
It is already performing my admin I used in 1990, when there were “no” computers.
This one and this time, saving space, saving trees.
(except printing my study records, which saves time and space also because I can shrink the writing and put more writing in a smaller space.)
The biggest need was and is replacing my first HP (hewlett packard) its broken touch screen lid and the computer was $340.
This one is $600.
I’ve since learned to be an even more expert keyboardist, typist or user of shortcut keys (defining some key computer terms) so I can really benefit from 40-50 years of experience, using the typewriter.
Then 4 years of the immediate past, of computer learning.
