Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Laptop wont reboot when connected to Dock I purchased a HP Thunderbolt 4 180W G6 dock for use with and HP Probook 450 15.6 G9 laptop. I have Windows 11 with updates current thru 11/13/2025. My laptop will not restart/reboot if connected to the Dock. I must disconnect from the Dock to restart and only after it is completely booted up and running can I connect it back to the dock. I bought the G6 to replace a G4 but it did not cure the problem. I assume there must be a small piece of code on the Dock or lacking that is causing this problem

Will the Thunderbolt 4 Ultra 180W G6 Dock work with my Zbook Firelfly 16 g10? Specs say a G2 for my laptop on your site but I want the G6.

What is the CPU and the GPU ? Is the OS preinstalled ?

Is this Thunderbolt 4 Ultra 180W compatible with a HP ProBook 16" 460 G11 laptop, as I need enough power for my 3 screens (1-27" and 2-24")? With the G-5 dock I do not get the full 1920x1080 resolution that my Element EMF2FPABXXB monitors are capable of.

Will this dock work with a Thunderbolt 1/2 monitor? My older Spectre computer (2018) connected well to my 2 apple monitors with usb T/B. I can't get my brand new Spectre with Thunderbolt 4 to work with these monitors. Hope this dock will fix the issue.
