Trying to Keep It Simple
My new HP is a sweet machine. If been using HP products for over 45 years and this one is by far the simplest to use and best screen I've ever used. As a 68-year-old computer geezer (not geek), I only use a fraction of the machine's capabilities but the features I need are perfect.
Set up was painless and the HP staff were very helpful.

Probably a Good Computer BUT...
Always had good experiences with HP computers. Bought this laptop and was disappointed that the external speakers would not work. Every time the computer woke or was rebooted, I had to re-install the audio drivers. I called customer support (they could not fix the issue and did not honor a promised call-back), tried chat (the person on the other was not responsive), and used the AI bot (sadly the most helpful) and could not resolve the issue. Final resolution: returned for refund. Follow up: 3 days after returning, I got a phone call from support person saying "Sorry I did not return your call but I'm here now, how is your computer working?"

Larger Screen, better graphics
I had an HP Windows 10 and needed to upgrade to Windows 11. I also wanted something with a larger screen. I did some research and then called HP and the rep. was fantastic and helped me select and build by laptop over the phone. I used the PC mover through Laplink to transfer my files from my old PC to the new one and the rep for this was also fantastic and helped me transfer everything flawlessly. Now I'm in the process of learning my new laptop and all of it's new features. Love it !!!

From Windows 10 to Windows 11, I survived!
I must admit that I have been pleasantly surprised at the ease I have experienced transitioning from my old computer to this one. I waited until the last minute to get a new computer because I was not looking forward to the change. One of the nice things I have noticed is that my hp printer works better with my hp Windows 11 computer. There have been some minor adjustments, like adding an app that will play my external DVD player. As usual, there were way too many choices. I made sure the computer had an HDMI port as I show videos from my external DVD player to a TV at home or at our church.
