I was a little hesitant to get this printer because I already have an Hp printer but I’m glad that I did. The setup process was easy and simple. Setting up through the app and a few clicks on the printer and done. The printing speed is amazing. I have to print out a lot of invoices, envelopes, checks, charts, spreadsheets, etc… on a weekly basis. As easy as 1,2,3 and the print jobs are done. This printer is a lot quieter than my previous printer and it makes a difference. I do have the instant ink and paper service. Is it worth it? I get very busy at times and it’s one less thing to worry about. Ink cartridges and paper are delivered right to my front door automatically when I’m running low. I’m not constantly checking ink levels or paper amounts and I even don't have to place an order. It is a subscription based service with different plans and it’s worth every penny to me and my business. So honestly I would recommend this printer to anyone who has a small business. The speed, color quality especially with photos and charts, are remarkable . I really don't have anything negative to say about this printer. Some people may not like the large size of the printer but it is to be expected.

Size Matters
I've been using the HP 9730e Series Printer for a week now, primarily for printing documents, shipping labels, floor plans, and posters. As someone who is tech-savvy, I found the setup process straightforward. The wireless connectivity is a huge plus, allowing me to print directly from my phone or tablet, which is incredibly convenient.
One of the standout features is the larger print format, which is perfect for my floor plans and posters. The print quality is excellent, and the speed is impressive, whether I'm printing color images or black-and-white documents. My kids also find it easy to use for their school projects, which speaks to the printer's user-friendly design.
The printer's touchscreen interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, and the HP Smart app is a great companion for managing print jobs and monitoring ink levels remotely. The printer operates quietly, which is a significant improvement compared to others I’ve had in the past.
However, the printer's size was a bit of an issue. I had to purchase a new printer stand because it wouldn't fit with my existing office furniture. I wish the footprint was smaller to better suit my space. On the plus side, I haven't had to replace the ink cartridges yet, which suggests good ink efficiency.
Overall, the HP 9730e Series Printer has been a reliable and valuable addition to my home office. It’s easy to use, offers high-quality print results, and the wireless printing feature is a game-changer. I would recommend it to anyone in need of a versatile and efficient printer, especially if you need to print larger formats regularly.

Incredible easy to use printer
The 9730e printer is packed with features. What really sets its apart for me is the fact that it has 2 print trays each of which hold 250 pages. This means that I can print to the two sizes I regularly use (letter and legal) without having to constantly swap paper out of a single tray. The other great thing about this printer is that it prints extremely fast, especially in color. I have never seen a printer produce such high quality color prints as fast as the 9730e does.
Lastly, the screen is super intuitive and easy to navigate menu wise but what really sets the 9730e apart is the app. You basically have access to all of the printers features from your phone at any moment. Whether you want to print remotely or scan you can accomplish this with just your phone in hand which I love.

Just what I needed
I do a lot of printing at home for crafts, personal use, and I'm working on starting a business. This printer has handled everything I've thrown at it so far really well. From printing on sticker paper to printing my notes on 4x6 index cards it's been great. With anything smaller than letter size I do have to manually print on both sides of the paper but that's expected from most printers, especially large format ones. I can't wait to get a hold of some tabloid size paper and start making my own planner books. The print quality is fantastic. It prints color and b/w very quickly. It's fairly quiet for its size. Having two paper trays has made my life significantly easier, I can keep standard letter size paper in one tray and use the second for the odd size stuff. I change it on the printer when I swap it out because it prompts me and it auto selects the proper tray when I print from my computer. Being able to print from my phone and iPad is also great, no having to email documents to myself.

Great Printer!
This HP Printer is great! Took about 15 minutes to set up (had to do a firmware update) but setting up was easy and the HP Smart app is great! The toner cartridges were easy to install and hooking up to the Wi-Fi was a breeze. It prints quickly and I love that it can do wide prints as well. Being able to print, scan and copy is always a great option. As I do a small home business, my husband is a first responder, and I have 3 grown kids and a toddler. I'm looking forward to being able to have the option to send my husband and children things that they may need from home but don't have the option to come home and get it. The ability to print from anywhere and invite anyone to print on your printer is awesome. The double trays make it easy for me to have paper in one and my shipping labels in the other, without having to switch out. I'm looking forward to trying the HP Instant Ink service because I notoriously run out of ink and forgot to buy new ones. Having all these options (and ones I haven't discovered yet) at my fingertips, from anywhere, is a major upgrade from my old HP printer and I am here for it! Highly recommend!!

I recently got the HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e and let me just say, it's a total game-changer. Right out of the big box, it feels like a premium business device. Setting it up was a breeze too because HP makes it super user-friendly, so I didn’t have to struggle with confusing instructions at any point. The touch screen interface is super intuitive and responsive, making it easy to navigate through all its functions.
Print quality? Absolutely amazing! Whether it's documents or photos, the clarity and color are top-notch. It's fast too, no more waiting around for pages to print, which is a huge plus for someone with a busy schedule like me who is constantly on the go.
Scanning and copying are seamless, with the added benefit of an automatic document feeder that handles multi-page documents like a pro. It's also a relief that the ink lasts longer than most other printers I've used, so I'm not constantly having to replace cartridges.
One of the best features is the wireless connectivity. Perfect for Large Projects
I needed a printer that can handle large printing jobs and can do larger prints besides the standard 8.5x11. Since I love creating posters and other projects, this printer has been able to get the job done. I am amazed by the color match between my computer and the printer! The colors comes out vibrant and sharp which is important for my print jobs. The touchscreen is a plus and it makes it easy to get into the different options it offers. Scanning is a breeze and copying is smooth. Setting up the printer was quick and the online instructions were very simple and helpful. What An Upgrade! Great Features.
I am beyond impressed with this printer! From setup to the first print, it only took 10 mins. The HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e is a wide format printer that prints up to 11"x17", which will be a great step up for printing proofs and posters for our design business. Beautiful color prints and nice sharp text on documents. The scanner bed is very large and can accomodate larger images for archiving. The auto feed scanner is nice for multi-page documents. I was so happy to discover that is does automatic two-sided printing. There is a double tray for loading two types of paper. I was able to load 500 pieces of paper. The mobile app was very easy to set up and it made it very easy to add the printer to our wireless network. I can now send prints from anywhere in my house. I was very impressed with how fast it started printing. It started printing only a few seconds after I hit print and within a minute or two, I had a 26 page, two-sided document with several images printed. Borderless printing is an option that is available within the settings. I am really excited to try the auto-fill ink service that comes with the printer. The printer makes quick, clean copies. Overall, this is a major upgrade for our home office. Multiple can use this printer because it's completely wireless. I love it!

Excellent network printer
Excellent printer easy setup, awesome prints. Wifi or ethernet setup, I do recommend this printer. I can print from either my iOS or Android phone and tablet. I can even send prints to it even when I am away from home! The color prints come out very beautifully on glossy photo paper.
My family uses it for many different reasons from taxes to college papers, we enjoy the feature of new ink sent directly to you! In which is very fast and easy to swap out.

Excellent printer
This HP 9730e was so easy to set up. The directions were the first thing I noticed opening the box. The packaging had handles to life it out. The printer walked us through set up, which took 10 mins. I like the free printable that the app has. The ink cartilages were easy to install as well. The pages printed quickly and perfectly. It gave notations when a print was complete and when our pages were getting low. I am very pleased with this printer

A Perfect Megapunch Professional Office Printer
The new wide-print HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e packs a heavyweight PUNCH, leaving a stunning result of printing and WYSIWYG satisfaction to the max.
The design itself is typically HP, in the way they have facilitated the Scanning, the feeding of the paper, and even in the insertion of the printer inks - If you’ve been an HP user, the UX/UI should be pretty familiar. Except for one caveat - Which I am certain that it was creative for space, saving innovation, and not necessarily for aesthetics. When you do use the trays for the maximum allowed paper size (which is 11” x14” ), One must use their tray extender, which does not allow the trade to be completely.closed, Hence, needing someone to be on standby otherwise there’s a highly likely chance that someone will bump into it and possibly ruin the mechanism and or the paper itself’
Aside from this, the instruction to the first usage of the printer is self-explanatory and if in doubt, you can actually make use of the QR code that’s available in the instruction manual which directly links to a video that will help you get started. Another side note would be to always refer to YouTube and see if there’s anyone who could help with some of the odds and ends of the usage if the instruction manuals were not clear. Once the cartridges are installed, and the ink alignment is completed, you could access the printer function in two ways : through a printer, cable or via Wi-Fi.
The USB port for the printer is available in the front left side of the printer itself, and USB cable is not provided. The Wi-Fi version is a lot simpler and this is my preferred method, and once you set up the Wi-Fi in the printer and you use the same network to print from your computer or from your iPad or your phone, Process is quite quick and the results are what you see is what you get.
Another aspect that’s pretty incredible is the level of quality professional print out this HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e creates. One of the biggest challenges as an artist/graphic designer is the issue of not being able to do a color match what’s on the screen to the print.. This printer is where the WYSIWYG comes shining through, And the color interpretation from the File to the printout is a remarkable match. The Print time of a 11” x 14” poster Is about two minutes, and as the print finishes, the printer itself allows it to return into the feeder for what appears to be "drying time". Overall I would highly recommend for professional grade printing.

Easy setup and great mobile app
The 9730e has all the features I want. Print in regular size and large size paper which is great for printing docs for projects, the setup was super easy done through scanning a bar code which walks you through the steps. The mobile app is my favorite as it allows printing and scanning. The usb print is also very convenient in case you want to print offline.

Versatile Printer
This Printer is very easy to setup. We were able to setup in less than 15 Minutes. It's big and versatile printer that can do print,scan and copy. It also supports 2-sided prints. The Touch screen is very intuitive, we can easily navigate between options. The printer is very fast, prints 22 pages per minute and has a paper tray that holds upto 500 sheets. We have been using it for small business needs and our kids needs. The HP+ Program for this printer is also enable worry free ink refills. This Printer also supports the Cloud Print and Air Print. We did setup this printer to print remotely and using our iOS mobile also. We can also enable private print for secured documents. This Printer has a option to connect USB Drive and print from there. The Printer can connect to internet using LAN or Wifi. We have setup using Wifi. The Printer can print in color and back & white. This printer has everything that a home or small business needs. Enjoying it's productivity every day.

It has all the bells and whistles!
I am delighted with my HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e! I downgraded my previous HP for a more minimalist look, and it was instant regret. I was happy to get back to an OfficeJet. This printer is a game-changer for any home office, small business, or any person who just prints a lot like me. Setup was a breeze with the touchscreen interface guiding me through each step. I really loved having a screen again.
The print quality is outstanding, whether I'm producing vibrant color charts or crisp black-and-white documents. I did have an issue where the second page of any duplex copy/scan had a vertical blue streak down the page. I called tech support and they had me take out the cartridges, wipe them, return them to the printer, and do a hard reset. After that, everything was back to normal. I was thrilled about that because duplex copy/scanning is a very important feature for me. The feeder handles stacks of documents flawlessly, and the scans are sharp and clear every time. The printing speed is also an upgrade for me, It's lightning fast. It can handle large jobs with ease which is a huge time-saver for me. The only negative is that because it is so fast it literally shakes the whole desk that it sits on when printing documents.
Overall, the HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e is an awesome all-in-one. It's reliable, efficient, and packed with features that make my life easier. If you're looking for a multifunction printer that delivers on both performance and value, this is definitely the one to get!

I recently bought HP 9730e and installed it yesterday. It’s bigger than I thought but knowing it can hold 500 pages, I didn’t have to store the pages anymore. That’s a plus. Installation was extremely easy and seamless. Printer head alignment took 2 tries to work and print quality is excellent. I compared it with previous HP printer I had and without a doubt, it’s crisp, clear and sharper. Already printed quite a few pages and it prints at a faster paper and cartridge installation was super easy. No breaking clips which is a major plus as I have wasted cartridges while attempting to make ready for installing it. Needless to say, this was a great purchase and a solid product. If your needs are for research papers and/or home business where you need to print large quantities, this is the best printer. Multiple trays to hold hundreds of pages each and different sized papers/sheets, HP makes it easy to have all your printer needs addressed with this fine piece of equipment, which is not only practical and fine tuned, it is well built and pretty.

This HP Office Jet Pro 9730e is exactly what we needed for our jobsite. The setup was simple using the HP setup wizard. This printer connected to our project wifi and all crewmembers can print to it. We selected this model because of the speed for printing, along with the option to print 11 x 17 and has color feature.
First day we set it up we had a meeting and needed a lot of pages printed. Worked great with no issues and we showed up to the meeting prepared. It also prints double sided which was great.
I highly recommend this printer for anyone looking for a great quality printer with all the features you need at a great price. 5 Stars!!!

I have tried this printer and have found it to be very easy to use from unpacking to setup, the wifi was quickly detected and had no hangups in staying connected.. i was able to print from my mobile devices such as ipad and phone using the hp smart print app
the installing of the ink cartridge was easy, i would have like it to print a bit faster for the size of it, the paper feeder is smooth so far the only downsize is the speed, and i ran into trouble with paper jams twice so far and i get an error message when shutting down the printer

This is a big printer with big features!
When the box arrived at my doorstep my first thought was ‘Wow, it is big!’. It’s true it is a large printer, but it is packed with big features – and it is the perfect size for my small business. The set up was simple. Within about 15 minutes I had all the packing materials removed, paper installed, ink cartridges installed and was printing a test page. I also downloaded the HP Smart app and was signed up for the Instant Ink service as well. The app connected to my wifi automatically and the printer printed flawlessly from my phone and laptop. The overall quality is very high, the paper trays are huge, and printing was very fast. I printed a test page that was just one line and the page shot out within a second. I am curious to try out HP’s Instant Ink service. We have never used it before. It will be nice to not worry about running out of ink. HP continues to deliver when it comes to printers for home and small office use!

This is a printer worth splurging on!
I have officially owned this printer for going on 3 weeks now. I wanted to make sure that I had it a full 14 days before I wrote my review, as I wanted to be as honest as possible, and make sure I utilized and figured out all of the cool features the printer has to offer.
I should start by saying that this is a printer worth purchasing. It is equipped with print (black and color), scan (feeder scan or glass scan), and copy (feeder or glass scanned copy). It is a wide format printer that can scan and copy the usual sized pages or even bigger things (as wide as 11x17 particularly). I found this to be a super helpful feature. Another feature I found helpful was the big touch screen. This screen was way bigger than your standard printer screen. Which again, is very helpful for someone like myself who cannot see well on the smaller screens. The document feeder up top is an automatic feeder, and the printer has two drawers for paper. Which allows for normal sized paper and wider, longer paper if needed. It prints up to 22 pages per minute (I put this to the test myself and it is certainly the truth), and the clarity of the printed document/photos have turned out so true to color.
Setup was incredibly easy and we were on air and connected to WiFi within literal minutes. You can print from your phone or from a computer/laptop without having to have the software downloaded. The printer came with 3 months of ink included in the box, and a free trial of HP plus. If you’re questioning whether to purchase the HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e, don’t question any longer, and make the purchase!

Small Office Wonder
I recently purchased the HP Office Jet Pro 9730e and overall, I'm very pleased with the printer. The printed copies were true to screen color, which was impressive. One smart feature is that it pauses to let the ink fry when printing two sided documents, which ensures smudge-free pages.
Setup was a breeze, and I had no trouble connecting multiple devices to it. The printer is a bit larger than I expected, though i might have missed that detail in the specs. The packaging was excellent, with plenty of tape to keep everything secure during transit.
The print quality is top-notch, with both black-and-white and color pages coming out sharp and clear. The display screen is convenient as it fades out when not in use, saving energy. while the HP Office Jet Pro 9730e is fast and efficient, it is a little noisy.
Overall, despite the minor inconvenience, I'm happy with the purchase.

A Dream Printer
I am disabled and my old HP Printer was disconnecting left and right and I could barely print from it so when this opportunity came up I had to take it. It arrived safely and without damage. Setup is super simple with easy to follow instructions. Gone are the days of turning off a printer, turning it back on and hope to connect before it's not found again. Signing up for instant lnk (3 months included) also means no more going to the store to hunt down the right cartridges. The only real issue I had was one of the ink cartridges didn't appear to want to go into place but the printer still found it easily. I HIGHLY recommend this printer for anyone looking for a replacement.

Best Teacher printer ever!
I am a special education teacher and have to print a lot of paperwork daily. First thing I love about this printer, is that it holds a lot of paper. I can also put two types or colors of paper in it if needed. That is huge, it holds almost a whole ream of paper, it's great! My next favorite thing is it lasts a LONG time. I have printed so many pages! I am not sure the exact number, but it is in the hundreds. I can replace just the color that I need, example, I run out of black obviously first, but if I run out of blue, I can replace just blue, if I run out of yellow, I can replace just that, etc. It is large in size, but it has to be for all it does. I can copy, print, email, scan, and get this! I can print from a different location. I can print even when I am not near my printer, it can connect remotely and print to be there later. Amazing! I have hooked it up to my laptop and my phone, and can print from both through wifi. I am happy, this is a life changing machine for my job. Not having to continuously replace ink and put paper in makes all the difference.

Upgrade from Previous Printer
As some of the other reviews stated, this printer size is a lot larger than I expected. It actually didn't fit where my previous printer was so had to create a new space and order a table so it would not be on the floor but I was able to fit the printer under my stand up desk so now printing is more accessible for me. I do love the easy use and the quality of the print makes my work look so professional. Setting up the printer was a breeze and directions were easy to understand. Although it has taken me a little to adjust to a new printer, I do like the quality and the speed of my print jobs. I would highly recommend to a small business owner or someone like me who is teleworking from home. Great printer!

Awesome printer
We have been needing to replace a monochrome 5 year old inkjet printer that just couldn't keep up any longer with the current printing demand. We also wanted wifi enabled to be able print remotely to support our demand.
We bought the HP Officejet Pro 9730e after reading reviews and super happy that we did as it is beautiful machine. Literally checked off everything we were looking for and then some. Also love the HP brand as its associated with Quality and latest technology while being consumer focused.
Pros:
3 months of ink subscription, free
Setup was beyond easy.
Wifi enabled and access is sharable via HP Smart App
Printing is super fast and smooth.
Copy and Scans with ease
Print quality for photos and on glossy and matte paper is impressive.
Super Quiet.
Cons; (not really)
Size, its larger than our old monochrome printer but still small enough to sit on a Table.
Weight; it is heavy and does require 2 to safely remove it from the box but plus is the box does have handles built in so you could have one person do it as well.

Open the HP Smart app
Select the Print photos tile
Choose a photo or design file
Tap the photo on the Preview screen
Tap the Rotate icon at the bottom of the screen
Tap Flip H
Tap Done twice to create the mirror image

Not expecting a "fine art" print quality, but can this printer produce nice quality "semi art-like" quality print?
