I had figured that this would be a better machine but the jury is still out on that. I have had significant issues trying to get the driver installed on a basic Windows 11 machine (also HP) and had to call for help a couple of times to get that far, and then had to switch from my wired LAN connection to WiFi to get it to work. Now I can't seem to get envelopes to print so I will have to call again. I am not a fan of the HP Smart app approach to drivers now as the old style was working fine. I am sure HP will help me get it working eventually but this has taken way longer than any of my previous HP printers.

First, I have been an HP customer for decades, but this new printer, HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e is really making me a very disgruntled customer for the first time. I am 70 years old and have always been able to purchase my HP computers/printers and additionally set them up on my own - this made me proud! But currently, I am having "horrific" printer problems with (1) internet connections; (2) loading the Set-Up program; (3) problems with scanning program; (4) problems with "Touch-Screen; and (5) problems printing. If I had not thrown away the box... I would be repacking it to return for a refund. I really feel let down. I will try to reload this " Printer Set-Up Program" one more time but will seek outside help if this time it does not work! I am glad I kept my 10+ year old HP printer because I may have to reinstall it.

Worse, if you find it impossible to complete the setup it will dun you for days telling you to complete the set-up which you can't. It's customer support is worse than useless. They give you bad information and rush to get off the line. Far different from their laptop support who stay on the line until they are sure to solve the problem. I think the nub of the problem is that the setup requires you to connect wirelessly, at least that is what their useless tech told me. The issue is the printer is located in and area with poor internet connectivity so I have it connect by a direct cable which is fine. The printer jams a little but other than that it is fast and the print quality is very good.

It's definitely faster, it was easier to set up out of the box. So far we have set up all the applications except for the fax portion; the printer is set up far away from the phone line and that's why we haven't been able to connect; this was the problem with the previous two printers; I'm going to have to get a very long telephone extension cord to be able to connect the telephone line to the printer. Hopefully I'll be able to accomplish this process soon

I printed a 30 page document and it took 10 minutes to print. I've never had a printer this slow. It has a nice print when it is done printing. There are consistent error messages if it has more than one job in que. I'm not sure how I feel about the price and the speed of this one.

A concern I have is that it makes a lot of noise when it starts up. It takes a few minutes for the noises to stop. It does its job well for other tasks.

    Thank you for your question! The cartridges that the HP OfficeJet Pro X476dw printer will not be compatible with the HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e. The 9135e uses the HP 936 or 936e ink cartridges, the 936e is a high-yield option.

    A reviewer said that he tried to cancel his instant ink, but then the printer didn’t work at all. Does that happen a lot? It says we can cancel after 3 months if we want. Is that true?  Phyllis

    Is this a photo printer? I print lots of photos and I have an Office Jet 8715, nearly 6 years old, a really great printer. It has a great photo print feature that allows me to print standard size photos. Is this a comparable printer?

    I cannot make one copy from the glass.  I was told by HP that HP did not program this printer to be able to use the glass for a copy.  Is this true or do I have a faulty new printer?

NOTE: By default, the printer is set to copy in color. Touch Save to save the current settings as default. 4) To copy a document, load your original print-side down on the scanner glass or print-side up in the document feeder. Select Copy.
