it's ok but I have had better printers.
not too bad to setup.
print quirky as pages not always fully printed.
photo print a pain to work thru screen
it is a so so printer
only reason I bought is the cartridges are cheaper and longer lasting than last HP I had

HP inkjet printers are the best
I purchased this model HP Office Jet Pro 8135e to replace a well worn model HP 8035. I like the all in one features and the auto feed document tray. I like the 2-sided printing. I like using ink cartridges that I purchase whenever I need to replace them. The printer works very well with one exception. Occasionally, when printing a document it "freezes" and doesn't finish print. I cancel print and usually have to turn the printer off then turn back on. When I turn it back on, it resets itself. This doesn't happen very often. I never had this problem with my older model HP. Because I love all the other features of this printer, I am just dealing with this glitch.

Flimsy newer model
I got this all in one as a replacement for an older model whose functionality ceased. I am not as impressed with the newer version as it feels far less sturdy than the older. The pull out tray feels flimsy like it’ll break if you push too hard.
I also haven’t received my ink for the new printer so I cannot print currently.
Otherwise, it works fine.

Quick and easy
The installation was quick and easy and setting up all of our phones was a breeze (easier than all of my other HP printers). The one thing that I don't like too much, is I have to use the app to add and change my scan to email shortcuts. I didn't have to use the app before to make these setting changes.

Great Printer!
This printer is an "A+" printer that has performed from the beginning with no problems. It has a fax included but haven't needed to try it out. Will see when i do try it. I recommend this 8153e to anyone needing a work at home all in one. The price is unbelievable! You don't need to get an expensive one for the home, this does it all (unless your working from home with more advanced options, that is}, but this does the job for general at home work!.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e Wireless All-in-One Printer
I returned this printer to HP around August 5, 2024. I found that the installation of print cartridges was too difficult. I could not get the cartridges to click in place. I was afraid of damaging the printer or the cartridges if I applied too much force.

Disappointed
Requires too many steps to make a simple copy. Print quality is not impressive. Document tray is poorly designed, making it difficult to open and close.

Excellent printer! It was easy to set up via the online instructions and animations. The printer works and prints wonderfully. I don't have any issues with this printer. Thank you HP!

Falls Asleep to Never Wake-up
When this printer goes into sleep mode, when not in use, you have to turn off the printer and reboot it to print. This was such a time waster. I returned it to HP.

Installing HP Office Jet Printer.
Unable to add this printer to my new laptop. It states printer error, and urges to upgrade windows 11, which is already installed.

Former HP buyer from
Terrible printer experience.
I hate this printer. Connection issues since day one. You have to work through their smart hp app to make it usable. Had to actually look up how to print photos.
This coming from a lifelong HP user. They are not making life easier. I would never have purchased this product knowing what I know now. Very slow to connect and very slow to print.

Some features are good; some are not up to HP's standards
PROs 1) I like the smaller size. 2) The printed product is very good. 3) Clearing a paper jam was easy. CONs 1) The quality of the printer is much diminished from my previous HP printer. 2) I had difficulty printing one-sided to two-sided collated documents. (The same content was printed on the front and the back of the sheet. I will need to call Technical Support. I wasted a lot of printed pages and paper, plus an excessive amount of time was used resulting in frustration.) 3) The tiny display screen is difficult for aging eyes to read. 4) I am disappointed that the glass bed does not accommodate legal-size originals.

HP OJ 8139e All-in-One disappointments
The control panel is far too small. It is extremely difficult to use the keyboard on it, because of the small size.
It does not allow me to scan by using the control panel, as I have an iMAC. I was led to believe, in a phone call to check its compatibility with my iMAC, that I would be able to do that. Now I have to use HP Smart.

The HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e is a top notch printer
So far I am in love with my new HP OficeJet Pro 8135e Wireless. After 5 different HP printers, this is the first one that actually prints wirelessly. I'm thrilled about that but it prints clear and neatly. I love how it prints on both sides of the paper if needed. I have had the paper option for the last two printers and I love it being delivered to me as well as the ink. If I could wish something was better, it would be; giving a clue when each or all ink is needing to be replaced. All in all I love this printer.

Impressed and exceeded expectations
This printer went over and beyond for what I needed. I has various task that needed glossy photo paper and was therly impressed by the quick drying and non smudging of my prints. I was impressed because most prints on glossy paper smear a little when being printing and/or drying. I didnt have that problem with this printer at all. Grade A+++

works great
My daughter recently got the HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e to replace another printer. It does seem to take a minute or 2 to actually print however once it starts, its fast and quiet. Love that can print from my phone wherever we are without having to be in the same house as the printer. The color prints are clear and sharp, scan to computer works great after downloading the software for it. We have used it to print general prints, flyers and temporary tattoos which all look good. happy with it

Massive disappointment
for over 20 years I have bought only HP computers and printers and always been satisfied. That is now officially over. I have it connected to PC#1 by ethernet and to PC#2 and a Laptop wirelessly.
PC#2 keeps getting a message PRINTER IS OUT OF PAPER. It's not. One page printed from the LAPTOP 4 times spontaneously in a 24-hour period (I only hit PRINT once). Additionally, the paper tray is not sturdy and paper slides around causing misfeeds; it also has fed batches of about 10 sheets at once causing jams and wasting paper. The touch screen is cumbersome and requires a heavy touch. It's noisy and takes a long time to print after clicking PRINT. All this came to light in the first 30 days fortunately and I am returning the printer.
I am VERY disappointed. I have read that HP has had internal business problems. It's unfortunate and I hope they are able to get it together, but today I have purchased a printer from a different brand.
