Poor HP Representative Support Service
I received my new HP Laptop and I called tech support to assist in setting it up with the software that I purchase for my laptop. Seven tech support representatives later, bad English language and an additional fee charge, HP Support was unable to help me. This is a example of poor representative support service. The real rating should be zero!

Terrible computer
Nothing saves on this computer except downloads. It is very frustrating!!! I cannot simply receive a document or a picture and save it where I want is while also naming it so I could find it. Some programs keep popping up asking to use them, but they all just want me to sign up for their service. Terrible!!!! All the computing power is not worth anything!

no help to be found from
You have go to be kidding
After 3 weeks windows11 won't let me do anything to change any settings, can't get help without paying for it. Hp says they can't help because it's microsoft. How about backing your product. There's no help to be found on either end. Buy this product and if something goes wrong your stuck unless you have more money. Sick of the pass the buck routine.

Christmas gifts
This was a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. She was so happy when she received it and couldn’t take me enough. She immediately opened it up and starting putting everything together. It was so quick and easy. She had no problems whatsoever. She loves it and use it now for college

Be careful where you purchase your HP
Be very cautious when and where you but this laptop. I've had HP laptops, and other products without issues for years. This time was completely different. I usually purchase my HP products from stores or onlne sites like Amazon. This time I shopped directly with HP online. That was the only difference I can see that may have caused my issue. I had to reorder this laptop 3x as the serial number that came on it wasn't known when I tried to register it. A statement came up with a totally different serial number it picked up from the laptop itself and it said that the serial number on my laptop was for an Asus with a serial number which expired in 2018. HP was supportive and refunded my money but it wasn't worth the hassle.

Default build is not good enough
Just a heads up for anyone wanting to buy this with the default configuration. To make this a modern, competitive laptop, be sure to add the optional 1920x1080 display and the backlit keyboard. These cannot be added afterwards easily, and the default display and keyboard tend to be subpar by today's standards. The RAM and SSD upgrades should also be considered, but at least I can do these updates later. Opening the laptop to do this requires skill since the whole bottom needs to come off to access the PCIe and RAM slots. There are screws hidden under both rubber strips. The Win 11 included is 24H2. Also, there is no ethernet port on this laptop, only WiFi. The Core 5 120U is a faster cpu than the i5 1334U and i7 1335U in the 17t-cn300 model. Intel integrated graphics is good enough for me.

Is pretty much what I expected.
Is pretty much what I expected. Could have louder speakers. Quick and light compared to my old 17 DV7. An internal DVD write and play is missed. Just a big mess to have a stand alone player with wires. The idea of a laptop is supposed to be portability without the clutter. I would still recommend though. Have had pretty good luck with HP.

Loading period
It’s a good laptop. My only concern is how it’s a bit delayed in function. It takes longer to load than a new computer should. Other than that, it’s good

Well satisfied
I've had three HP laptops over the past 20 years and never had any problems. This one arrived on time with no damage. Setup was straight forward, up and running minutes. However there's no ethernet port, not a deal breaker, works great and meets all computing needs. Good value for the price.

Nice general use laptop
This laptop is used for general web browsing and document editing. The large 17-inch screen really helps for these tasks. The laptop has plenty of speed since it is not used for gaming and runs quietly. The only nit I can think of is that the power button is in the top row of the keyboard. We are getting used to its location but would really like it to be all by itself.

It is almost perfect
I guess it was my fault, but every HP computer and laptop have always had a cd drive. Imagine my surprise when I look for the CD drive to play some music on! Oh and I did add a goodly amount of money to get what I wanted as addons. Other than that the computer is fast (upgraded), storage is good (upgraded) and the visuals are wonderful.

No keyboard lighting
The laptop performs well. After just one month i have found a few pixels not working. What impacts me more is the lack of light to see keyboard. I just thought it would be a standard feature. So now i wil buy a usb powered light to see if that helps.

my horrible experience with my just purchased 17 inch laptop from hp which is a total disaster the l
I'M a huge fan of all HP products including smartfriend, hp ink and i've only ever owned hp computers, laptops printers and have always been so happy with there products as well as customer service. well it's changed since this last order of my hp laptop which is absolutely horrible and i can't get anyone to help me from hp. this computer i was told was made in 2014 and they no longer carry any parts or service issues due to it being so old. when i ordered this laptop they said it was brand new which they lied to me. my outcome regarding this issue is not good at all i think hp got in over there heads and now they are so successful that they dont care about previous all time #1 customer happy with hp my results are now different. you can contact me about this issue i do not want this laptop any longer it runs horrible always shutting down, always having to wait to swwitch screens it couldnt be worse for it being a supposedly brand new laptop. i will be calling hp again about this horrible issue with my brand new hp 17 inch laptop. thankyou

Very Nice laptop
I bought this during the Black Friday sale so the price was great. It came with Windows 11 Home. Thankfully not in S mode so it was easy to load everything I needed. It's very light for a 17" laptop.
It's very fast for everyday activities. I don't play games so I don't know how it would be. overall I'm very pleased.

Great laptop.
I love my new HP 17t-cn300 laptop. It is (almost) everything that I wanted. The only things that I would have liked are one or two more USB ports and a drive for reading the SD cards from my camera.

Great New Computer
I received my order very quickly. I am not tech savvy, so my son got it all set up for me and transferred what I needed from my old computer. So far, I am very happy with my new computer. Much faster than my old one, and an easy transition.

Review HP Laptop 17t-cn300, 17.3"
I like the very fast startup of the laptop. I also like that it weighs less than the older models. I do not like the way HP has integrated the smaller power button with the top roll of small keys instead of leaving it above the keyboard by itself. As a personal preference I do not like the power cord having been changed to the right side of the laptop instead of the left side, since the power cord now lays on my legs based on where my power outlet is located. I was not able to see the power cord change based on HP's illustration. HP may want to look at a simpler way to turn on and off the touch pad instead of having to look for it in the system setting. Some other companies have it where you tap the upper left corner of the touch pad twice to turn it off or on and it displays a light when it is off. Overall, I am very pleased with the laptop.
