If I was able to reach a “live person “ they would say, I need to switch you to a technical person. I was assured that I would be able to talk with someone who could help, they even gave me two numbers to call if I was disconnected. The transfer took me back to the automated system and the two numbers also took me to the automated system!! The problem, the printer would not recognize the ink cartridges. After several attempts to restart, wipe cartridges off and remove and reinstall no luck! Very frustrating maddening and just plain awful. I was not going to buy new cartridges with a new printer . When I managed to reach someone I was done. Send me a label to RETURN. Went to Staples and bought an Epson printer works great. No more HP.

Have been doing a lot of scanning and it is amazingly super. It is just me getting used to opening the lid, turning on and off the printer and the differences and complication in the paper tray usage. Also the front lid falls open often.

Only one time did it not print something from my phone; I’m not sure why but I went into HP smart and printed it from there and had no issue. i like that it has a quiet mode. My only complaint is that the status lights are extremely bright! I have my printer in my bedroom and even when it’s on standby and the screen is off, the blue and white status lights are terribly bright in my room so I have to cover them with something.

    Hi, I bought this printer 7255e some time ago and noticed when I open the lid or cover that the san light under the glass is always on, flashing Purplish sometime greenish or white light, is this normal ? Also the printing is not always at best, smudging
