SLOW, Ink Monster!
Bought this based on all the positive reviews to replace a HP ENVY 7800 series that I had for over 10 years and that was a workhorse - I have never been more disappointed in an HP product. Printing is SLOW and constantly getting errors while trying to print requiring me to restart the print job. At times it has taken me OVER 2 hours to print a simple 10 page document. Paper tray doesn't hold much paper and it burns through ink!! After just 5 months, I'm ready to scrap this printer and get a new one because it's not worth the aggravation. Based on this experience, I'm very reluctant to make any replacement a HP product.

don't know about Features because power cord won't connect
right out the box the power cord won't attach to printer. I push it into the slot over the prong connectors, let go and it falls back off immediately. Poorly made. I can't get any customer service even with care pack warranty.

The scanning component is ridiculously complicated to set up with my Apple laptop computer. I have done this once, and returning to scan again, it appears it has to be done all over again, it's unnecessarily time consuming

Printer good software not so
The purchase was easy through HP. Arrived in a few days. Printer is easy to take out of box and setup started off easy. Halfway through setup it says some functions not available to go to website for support. Website starts ok then goes to Chinese every time. Printer still says to go to startup website.

HP 6552 is the best.
I've always liked HP printers, and the Envy 6552 met my expectations. The design is simple, beautiful and modern, it looks great on any desk.
What I like the most is that i can print, scan and copy in color. I've used it a little for printing photos, but even so, I can say the print quality is very good. If you need it for school tasks, home office or for home use, this printer meets the requirements.

Nice printer for the price but not HP's best
Unfortunately I wasn't as satisfied with this printer as I wish I could have been. It has a lot of print issues it seems, with blurry print, poor quality pictures, I'm honestly not very satisfied but I love HP as a brand so I'm going to give it three stars still. I personally would not buy this printer, and I've owned several HP printers, so I would recommend any other HP printer besides this one to anyone that likes a good printer that doesn't use a lot of ink, this one also seemed to use a lot of ink, just a side note.

Printer setup & review
I was a bit nervous to set up this Envy 6552 printer because my husband is the tech guy and he can figure out any issues however I was so excited when the printer arrived that I didn't want to wait for him. It was easy to get out of the box, plugged in and the tape pulled off. It took me some time to click the inks in properly so that the printer realized they were there. I was able to print a test page which next went into the scanner. The screen showed the process went to 100% but 20 minutes later, it was still on the 100% screen so I ended up turning off the printer, unplugging it and then plugging it back in. I did the scan again and this time it was a success. The app was easy to find and download and has a lot of fun projects on it to print. I was impressed with the print quality and all the app options. Definitely a printer that looks like it will be a good one for a long time!

My Envy 6552e is the best inversion I made
This printer is the best inversion you can do; it is worth every penny. Since the moment I started using it hasn't disappointed at all. Whether you work from home or in an office, I could easily say the quality and speed makes this printer the one you need to have. I don't print every day, but I have printed more than 50 pages and can't complain at all.
Definitely would recommend HP Envy 6552e anytime.

Great and functional printer
This printer is perfectly made to fit in almost any furniture, it is very easy to install, just take between 10 and 15 minutes to download and set up HP Smart App in my phone and my laptop. The colors are just the perfect vivid amount when it comes to printing anything colorful. I will simply recommend this printer to anyone.

Hp 6552e Printer
I first thought looking at the box , oh okay this is like any printer. Then I started reading the specifications for the printer on the box , so it peaked my interest. The setup with the printer ,was very easy and efforless. I like the touchscreen control panel its easy to read and understand. When doing my first run with the printer I noticed I had made a mistake , but was easy to resolve. The Hp 6552e Prinyer is a great addition to my home office , it printers very quickly and it's quiet I love the speed of the printing scanning and the copy functions is what makes this printer ideal for my home office . The Bluetooth function is amazing in my option. I have recommended this printer to several people. The prints are beautiful . No ink smudges and the paper isn't over saturated with ink ither. Great printer Hp has outdone themselves.

A Few Hiccups To Start, But A Strong Finish
When I initially set up the HP Envy 6555e printer, it was very easy and straightforward. However, I couldn't get it to print at all. The automated, online troubleshooting chat was very helpful and identified the problem. Turns out, the setup ink cartridges were defective. Via the chat, a new set of cartridges were sent to me, at no cost. Unfortunately, due to the holidays, that shipment became lost, so I was sent another one. Once I received the replacement ink cartridges, the HP Envy 6555e printer worked perfectly!! I can print effortlessly from my phone or laptop using HP Smart. It prints quickly and the colors are vivid. I really like the automatic document feeder, because it makes copying/scanning a breeze. Overall, I think the HP Envy 6555e printer is a great option for home or small business use. As an added bonus, HP Support is effective and fast at resolving any problems that arise.

Review of 6555e HP. Read this before you buy.
The major drawback with this printer is the ridiculous small LCD screen to enter information to join a network. The keys are so small that it is almost impossible not to hit the wrong key or number many times before it gets it right. This should be much bigger on every HP printer. Otherwise, I am happy with the printer overall.

First off, this little powerhouse is all about simplicity. Set-up? A breeze. Seriously, if you can download an app, you can set this printer up. No need for a PhD in technology. And once it’s up and running, it’s like having your very own personal assistant, except way cheaper than hiring one.
Printing documents? No problem. Need to print a photo of your dog wearing a funny hat? Done. The print quality? Crisp, sharp, and beautiful enough to make your grandma proud. Plus, it’s fast. No more watching your printer take its sweet time while you lose patience—and possibly your mind.
And the best part? It’s wireless. Like, really wireless. You can print from your phone, tablet, or laptop. No more tripping over cables like you're auditioning for an obstacle course. Want to print while you're lounging on the couch? Go ahead. It’s like the printer knows it’s 2025, and it’s ready to keep up.
However, no printer is perfect. The Envy 6552e is a champ, but there are a few things that could use some improvement. First, the ink cartridges—oh, the ink cartridges. They don’t last forever, and like most printers, you’ll probably be making a trip to the store (or clicking "buy now" on Amazon) sooner than you'd like. HP’s Instant Ink subscription might help, but let’s be real: It feels like they’re quietly nudging you to pay for more ink regularly.
Also, while the print quality is fantastic, it’s not the fastest when it comes to high-volume printing. If you’re looking to churn out 200 pages in an hour, this probably isn't your machine. It’s better suited for home office or personal use rather than large, commercial print jobs.
Lastly, the paper tray is a little on the small side, so if you’re the type who loves to load up 100 sheets at once, prepare for a little more frequent reloading.
In conclusion, it prints, it scans, it copies, and it doesn’t make you want to pull your hair out. Just make sure you’re okay with regular ink refills and the occasional paper tray reload.

Awesome everyday printer
This printer is such a great printer for every use you can think of and very beginner friendly! I got it set up in less than 5 minutes and was very easy to do through the app and my wifi. I use it everyday to print shipping labels for my small business and I can get about 5 printed within a minute! The quality of my photos and all of my printed work is perfect and couldn’t ask for a better printer.

This printer is easy to use and works well when using the HP smart app. When I try to print without using the HP smart app I run into errors so I just use the app now. Everything looks sharp and crisp and even printing photos on plain paper turn out really well. It’s not the fastest printer I’ve ever used but for being a home printer it does a great job. My free ink subscription is expiring but I did receive a shipment during my free trial and it’s very convenient getting it shipped right to your home. They even send a bag to put the old cartridges in with prepaid postage so you can recycle them after you collect 6-8 empties. Overall, it’s a great printer and the white color looks great and is sleek.

Picture on box doesn't do justice!!
I was so thrilled when I was picked to try the HP envy printer. I don't have a printer I've had to use other people's printers and it's just been exhausting. Now I can print scan fax copy double-sided color everything I need to do with months of work that's been left behind I can catch up on I am so thankful! This printer is unique to me because of the functions and the ease of using them for my phone. Projects that would have taken me a month to do or taking me two weeks. I recommend anyone trying this product whether it's this model or different model but I like the HP and I'm sticking with it!

Less than pleased with this printer
This printer is difficult to set up and use. There is little to no instructions included or on line.
The focus is more about signing up for online Ink or paper than setting up or using the printer.
The software provided for printing and scanning is not easy to use and is much ado about simple operations. I much preferred the Deskjet 2010 I used for years.

The HP Envy 6552e works great! It's got great picture quality, along with double sided printing. You can get an Instant ink subscription to keep from running out. It has a nice touch screen menu too. I am very excited about this HP Envy6552e Printer! I arrived super quickly. It was very easy to unbox and set up. Adding the ink was very simple. My first impression is that it is pretty compact. Super easy to read instructions. Step by step guidance right on the printer screen. Takes standard sized papers as well as custom. It prints very quickly. The color quality is great. Two sided printing is the easiest I have ever experienced. The WiFi set up was very quick. I use my printer daily so I have already done plenty of printing in the week I have had it set up. The ink consumption is very low. I feel the ink reserve will last quite a long time. It is very convenient that hp offers the instant ink program. It will be nice to not run out of ink when I need it. I am extremely happy with this printer! I would definitely recommend it to friends and family alike. Again. It is super easy to set up and use. It offers great quality printing. This quiet and compact. You’ll never run out of ink again!

Sorry it took so long for me to write this review. I just had a chance to review the printer as a second household member. It is absolutely the best printer I've used in a long time!! The printer is able to print remotely from wherever you are with just a click on the app on your phone. The colors are so bright and vivid when it prints. The size of the printer is perfect if you have a small space, and it's quiet too. It's a great printer for occasional printing up to heavy duty printing and scanning. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to have this printer in my home!
