The scanning component is ridiculously complicated to set up with my Apple laptop computer. I have done this once, and returning to scan again, it appears it has to be done all over again, it's unnecessarily time consuming

Printer good software not so
The purchase was easy through HP. Arrived in a few days. Printer is easy to take out of box and setup started off easy. Halfway through setup it says some functions not available to go to website for support. Website starts ok then goes to Chinese every time. Printer still says to go to startup website.

HP 6552 is the best.
I've always liked HP printers, and the Envy 6552 met my expectations. The design is simple, beautiful and modern, it looks great on any desk.
What I like the most is that i can print, scan and copy in color. I've used it a little for printing photos, but even so, I can say the print quality is very good. If you need it for school tasks, home office or for home use, this printer meets the requirements.

Nice printer for the price but not HP's best
Unfortunately I wasn't as satisfied with this printer as I wish I could have been. It has a lot of print issues it seems, with blurry print, poor quality pictures, I'm honestly not very satisfied but I love HP as a brand so I'm going to give it three stars still. I personally would not buy this printer, and I've owned several HP printers, so I would recommend any other HP printer besides this one to anyone that likes a good printer that doesn't use a lot of ink, this one also seemed to use a lot of ink, just a side note.

HP home printer
Connects easily to your Wi-fi and HP smart app. You can print, scan & fax at the convenience of your home. However, after 7 pictures were printed the color ink was finished. Luckily instant ink is sending more ink asap.

Printer setup & review
I was a bit nervous to set up this Envy 6552 printer because my husband is the tech guy and he can figure out any issues however I was so excited when the printer arrived that I didn't want to wait for him. It was easy to get out of the box, plugged in and the tape pulled off. It took me some time to click the inks in properly so that the printer realized they were there. I was able to print a test page which next went into the scanner. The screen showed the process went to 100% but 20 minutes later, it was still on the 100% screen so I ended up turning off the printer, unplugging it and then plugging it back in. I did the scan again and this time it was a success. The app was easy to find and download and has a lot of fun projects on it to print. I was impressed with the print quality and all the app options. Definitely a printer that looks like it will be a good one for a long time!

Does this printer have an email address, so that emails can be sent directly to the printer?

HP Print Anywhere offers a similar remote printing convenience as HP ePrint but without the need to send an email to your printer. If one cartridge runs out of ink, can I still print from the other cartridge?
Hello. Thanks for your question. When the tri-color ink cartridge in your HP Envy 6555e All-in-One Printer is empty and you remove it, the printer will automatically switch to a mode called "single cartridge mode." This means it will continue to operate using just the remaining black cartridge, so you can still print, but only in black and white.

Does this printer have 2 separate printer slots, one for 8 1/2 x 5 to legal paper and a Separate slot for photo paper, In other words I do not want to change from photos to regular size paper when I print and What is the latest Envy Inspire printer?
Hello. Thanks for your question. The HP Envy 6555e All-in-One Printer does not support legal-sized paper. It supports paper up to 8.5 x 11 inches. It also has one paper tray.
The latest HP Envy Inspire printers are the 7255e and 7955e. These models do have the separate photo tray and can handle up to legal sized paper, 8.5 x 14 inches.
