This printer is reliable if you’re a small creator that doesn’t need industrial level printing. The Tech has been out 3 times now, almost drained all of our toner printing test pages, and we have yet to print for ourselves. The pages the Tech prints are beautiful!! Just can't wait to get the issues resolved. I wish HP would have just sent a new unit - or at least toner cartridges since they are expensive!!!

Right out of the shipping box and after the initial setup we printed several sets of drawings. I am very impressed with the new advanced features as shown on the keypad. Does this plotter print e size drawings

Thank you for your question about the HP DesignJet Z6dr Large Format Dual-Roll PostScript&reg; Graphics Printer. That unit can print from 11 to 44 x 66 normally and has custom options for 8.5 x 11 to 44 x 66. You would be able to print 36 x 48 for the e size drawings. Thank you for your question.
