Very dark , black ink. It does the job Printing.
But,, WHY, is it sooooooo expensive? It should be around $18, not in the $60 range.
This liquid is more expensive than the most expensive Perfume from. Paris.

Great ink. Price? not so much.
The ink is and it's working in the printer are fabulous, as always. But the prices remain too high. You pretty much lock us into using HP cartridges, so you really need to lower the price. Essentially it's up to $.15 per page, just for black ink, now. Please help. And please don't say "Instant Ink is cheaper." It is, but it totally locks us into your system and I know from friends that getting out is hard to do. Simply double the amount of ink--you know that would add almost no cost to you.

Would like to write a review - but I never received my ink cartridge. The shipper - DHL - tracking shows the package is "En Route". It has shown this for weeks and that it was never delivered.

Any company as large as HP owes consumers an easy means to telephone for Customer Service. It would appear that HP does jist the opposite and goes out of its way to AVOID being contacted and strand consumers with no help for the use of their products. Shameful.

I have owned several HP products and they have all outperformed the junk I have now.
They can’t even make an ink cartridge that would provide half as many prints as they say it will.
What a disappointment. Buy something else.

**Review for HP Ink Cartridge**

I deeply regret buying an HP printer, and these proprietary cartridges only add to the frustration. The printer forces you to use HP cartridges, meaning you can't save money with third-party alternatives. If you try, the printer outright refuses to work.
On top of that, the printer requires yet another app just to perform basic functions like printing or checking ink levels. I’m already drowning in apps for every device I own—why do I need an HP app for something so simple?
And don't even get me started on the relentless subscription push for HP Instant Ink. It’s like every time I blink, there’s a pop-up or email reminding me to subscribe. No, I don't want a subscription! I want to buy ink when I need it, not be locked into another monthly payment.
This feels like a classic case of corporate greed—locking customers into an ecosystem where they’re forced to pay more for convenience they didn’t ask for. Never again.
If you're considering an HP printer, think twice. There are better options out there that don’t treat you like a walking ATM.
