Dont buy any ink cartridges from any store other than HP because HP randomly invalidates rightfully purchased ink cartridges (even sold from themselves via HP website). Purchased from Ebay and cartridge was authentic HP cartridge sold in Malaysia. Due to not sold in USA, HP blackslisted their own cartridge. Then purchased direct from HP.com website and received a warning when installed the cartridge was not genuine HP. After several minutes the problem corrected itself. Happened on both HP.com website purchases. HP cant even decide which seller to blacklist and who not to blacklist

Since I installed my most recent black cartridge, I have printed around 20 pages of pure text in Draft mode, and the HP app is already indicating that the cartridge is half empty; this has happened with practically every HP 67 black ink cartridge I have used ever since I began buying them for my new printer. HP should add more ink to these cartridges or revise what they are claiming about the durability of the cartridges. Aside from this, the print quality is good for a relatively inexpensive HP ink cartridge model.

However I continue to experience B/W streaking even though supply status was OK and there was no message to replace B/W cartridge. This the third cartridge that exhibited this defect. Cleaning does not resolve the issue. I was told by HP support that this is a "common problem" due to clogging. I followed their guidance to turn the printer off with the power button when not in use. However the problem persisted. My printing needs are low but other printers that I've owned have not had this issue. If this is so "common" how about fixing it!
