It was INK & it had COLOR. What more could you ask for?
WELL . . . I would ask for A LOWER PRICE. That would be VERY NICE.
After all, the printer itself only cost about $160 and these two cartridges cost near $90.00.

Cannot figure out why - but it wasn't good
Just two days ago, I opened up and inserted the new HP colored ink cartridge I'd bought within the past month into my still-functioning HP deskjet 1000. I wanted to include with my holiday cards a one-page poem with a small picture of the poet - size 2 1/8 x 1 7/8 inches - on it.
I printed out 3 copies, then stopped. BECAUSE WHILE THE 1ST 2 PRINTS WERE OKAY - THE 3rd COPY WAS STREAKED WITH REDDISH LINES. I've got zero idea why.
Decided I'll print from now on with the black ink cartridge only.

The HP Inks (61XL Black and 61KL Tri-Color) are very good products, but they are much too expensive. HP MUST get their ink products cost under control and have much more competitive pricing. This product pricing is going to "kill" the product.
