Don't buy this charger. It won't charge most laptops.
This was listed as an optional add-on to the purchase of the laptop, but it is only a 45W charger whereas the laptop needs a 100W charger. It doesn't work with the laptop. After an hour and a half on the customer support line the agent was too incompetent to figure out how to issue a refund.

You asked.
Your staff is awful. Your company sent an item that could not be used. I spent two hours with 4 different customer service people. Ignorant, rude, useless, and impractical and last one who seemed he might be helpful instead changed the subject to the fact my laptop was 13 months old. I reported this horrific incident to my credit card company. I have been refunded after disputing this entire useless waste of energy and time. I got what I needed in a couple of days from a seller on ebay. Your company is in disarray. I wish I could give you a rating of negative 5 stars.

Ensure Charger Works with Your Product
While the Unit itself was fine, it turns out that it was not the correct/suitable one for the Laptop I purchased (even though HP had originally indicated it was appropriate). I needed the 65W charger, not this 45W charger. I had to do a return with HP to get the proper charger.
