I needed the 65W charger, not this 45W charger. I had to do a return with HP to get the proper charger.

No, this HP 45W USB-C LC Power Adapter (1MZ01AA) will not be compatible with the HP 15s-fq5066ns as that laptop does not have a USB-C power with PowerDelivery capabilities.
