Great quality printer
This printer is what I’ve been looking for. I was looking for something with lower cost for ink. I printer a lot of pictures and colored graphs. I printed 40 pictures this weekend without barely any ink being used. The quality of the pictures were top notch as well even without photo paper. It is quick. Set up was easy and straightforward. I’m loving this printer so far.

Prints colors very vividly
I love this printer! The colors print out very vivid and bright. I would recommend this printer to everyone. So easy to use and so quiet. The quality of the printer is the best of any other printer I have owned. It makes the picture of my dog look alive.

Quality printing
The HP Smart Tank is a good quality printer. The device prints, copies, scans and faxes. The problem I have with the printer is poor instructions on how to use it. Setting up the printer was a bit frustrating as the directions are not very clear. I am a senior without much printing experience and I feel the directions are not as helpful as I would like. It is a good quality printer, but vague with the instructions.

HP smart tank 651 is the best printer that i have ever used. the print quality is great. the speed the output is very fast and i have had no problems with the printer. the ink reserve is very large and will save a lot of money on ink costs. i recommend this printer to everyone. HP has made a fine printer and love it..

Game Changer
I've used almost every other brand until I discovered this printer, and now I can't see myself using anything else. I even brought it to a friend's house to demonstrate how much they could save by switching to this printer. The colors are sharp, everything works flawlessly, and my expectations have risen significantly, I have no desire to go back to regular printers anymore.

The perfect all in one I didn't know I needed
The HP Smart Tank Plus 651 Wireless All-in-One, has been amazing. It was very to install, I absolutely love how easy it is to do wireless printing especially having documents on my phone seamlessly print on my printer. I do a lot of business printing primarily using black ink, I can say that this printer is fast, I have printed over 200 pages this week and looking at my ink levels you would think I have not used the printer yet. I've made some color copies and they look very good, in the past I've shied away from color printers because ink was so expensive. I am glad I was introduced to the HP Smart Tank 651. I also appreciate the scanner and I've been scanning a lot of documents and old photos, if you are in need a of new printer / scanner get this one you will not be disappointed. The HP Smart Tank 651 is very easy to set up, you will be be printing in no time.

Printing at home made easy !!!
I am speechless!! How easy it was easy to use starting from unboxing to printing . It was actually able to do this all on my own without husband !! I love the fact that printing is so easy and ink is so convenient , no more running to buy expensive cartridges after little use. Kids are super excited to be able to print in color too.

Great All-Around Printer!
As someone who already owns a multi-function color laser printer for more routine tasks, I was keen on finding a printer that would excel in photo printing without the burden of high-priced replacement cartridges. Hence, I opted for the Smart Tank 651. One of the most attractive features of this printer is the cost of its ink. Unlike many other printers that require expensive cartridges, the ink for the Smart Tank 651 is very reasonably priced, ranging between $25 and $30 on Amazon. This makes it an economical choice for those who print frequently.
The setup process for the Smart Tank 651 was straightforward and relatively easy. However, I did encounter some ambiguity when it came to installing the print heads. The instructions provided were not as clear as they could have been, and I believe this is an area that HP could improve. For reference, I have included a picture of the contents that came in the box.
In terms of operation, the Smart Tank 651 offers great value for its price. The photo quality is truly outstanding, capturing vivid colors and sharp details. The scan reproduction is accurate, and the inclusion of a document feeder adds to its convenience.
That said, the one aspect that I found less satisfactory was the printing speed. It is noticeably slower than what I am accustomed to with my laser printer. This could be due to my familiarity with the quick output of laser printers, but I do think the printing speed could be faster.
The HP Smart Tank 651 is packed with useful features. The ability to refill the ink tanks yourself is a significant advantage, ensuring that you never have to deal with the hassle and expense of disposable cartridges. The quality of the print is superb, and the wireless connectivity makes it incredibly easy to use with your smartphone or computer. The user panel is also commendable, it is large enough to see clearly, it is logically set up, and it is uncluttered.
Overall, I would rate the HP Smart Tank 651 printer a 9 out of 10. It offers a plethora of features that cater to various needs, from its economical ink refills to its excellent print and scan quality, and its seamless wireless connectivity. Despite the slightly slower printing speed, this printer stands out as a truly great choice for anyone in need of a reliable and versatile printing solution.
In conclusion, the HP Smart Tank 651 is a fantastic printer that combines affordability, quality, and ease of use. I would recommend this printer to anyone.

651 has had little use. Printing is terribly slow. Prints 1/2 of page, then pauses for up to a minute to finish the page. Is there any hope? If printer has been discontinued is there any warranty?

I am trying to refill the black ink and I put the bottle in the slot but nothing in happening. I tried to squeeze bottle but not working and I'm afraid it will splash. I love this printer and have had it for awhile and prints beautiful pictures.
