Easy to setup. So far very happy with. I also have another HP and I am trying to WIFI connect but when I put in my pin number it does not like it? I can only get the printer to print with a cable. Any suggestions would be so helpful. Thanks

Rated 3 out of 5 by owdu28dj from Tanks are great, but paper has jammed twice I've only had this printer for a week (coming off of an instant ink based printer to stop paying for ink monthly). I thought it would be a much better printer because it cost about three times as much as the instant ink printer. The print quality is good, but the paper has jammed twice and I'm not sure why. The paper is new/clean/flat. I had it on the floor which was carpet and perhaps not as even as a hard table. So, I put it on a solid piece of wood now so that it sits level now as intended and since then, no paper jams have occurred. I can't say whether or not it was worth the cost quite yet as it's still new, but fingers crossed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ron 82 and counting. from Be careful who you call for help! I purchased the HP Smart Tank 6001 and during setup, due to my advanced age, I needed some help getting started. In the Quick Start guide near the end of the instructions it stated that if you needed assistance to scan the provided QR code. I did as instructed and it provided a phone number which I called and was connected to a guy who claimed to be a HP technician. He then had me let him take control of my PC, mistake #1, at which time he informed me that my PC was so old and outdated that he had to do a bunch of upgrades before the new printer would be compatible. I was still running Windows 7 :-( , so everything he was telling me made sense to me. Long story short he said he installed all new security, drivers and performed much more work. He claimed I now owed him $1170.00 and he couldn’t take PayPal he could only take a personal check which he scanned with my new HP printer. (Big mistake #2)!! I then realized I was being scammed by a person who I had called using a number that I had gotten from the QR code out of my HP quick start booklet. The very next day I got a call from another guy from India wanting control of my PC to check some things. Big Bug RED flag. Contacted my bank, set up a nw account, purchased a new PC with all new security and all updated programs and passwords to the tune of another $985.00.. Since I’m out over $2K, and a week of inconveniences, particularly from my own gullibility but mainly because of the phone number I got out of my HP Quick Start guide I feel I am entitled to a minimum of 50% compensation from HP.

I own it but wish I didn't. Can't even get instructions on how to print one lousy picture. Useless to me. How do you print a picture. How do you put the paper in. How do you take out the paper tray?????

does this printer okay with ethernet cable?

This printer does not have an ethernet port in order to work with an ethernet cable. It does have a USB B 2.0 female port to do a hard-wired direct connection.
