I had some print jobs in the next few days and there were some glitches--jams, crushed paper, and then....SMART PRINT. I was totally unable to print things when I went into a meeting yesterday. no idea what happened but everything ended up in the queue....I turned the presentation over to my colleague on Zoom. I think I have shut off the SMART function and hope the other glitches resolve. Good print speed and excellent print quality.

The ink tanks are easy to fill and not messy. Set up was easy. I use this printer for personal use and a small business. I've had so much fun (I know, I'm a nerd) printing since I got it.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by Philip G from HP Smart Tank 7301: Excellent Printer I have had this printer for about 2 to 3 weeks now, and the printer works as expected with minimal to no printing issues over Wi-Fi. The initial setup of the printer was somewhat annoying due to the HP Smart app. The HP Smart app had saved the wrong Wi-Fi password in the autofill option, which resulted in having to reset the printer to factory settings in order to restart the Wi-Fi setup process in the HP Smart app. The factory reset was the annoying part because I had to find that solution online, which I eventually did through a HP customer service support video, entitled "Unable to Connect Wi-Fi | Printer Not Found | HP Smart Tank 670 720 750 6000 7000 7300 | @HPSupport." After figuring out the solution, I manually inserted the password on HP Smart app instead of autofilling the password, and everything worked perfectly. I love that the HP Smart app can report the current levels of both ink and paper supply. The HP Smart app also has the ability to scan directly from the app as well as a few other nifty, miscellaneous features. I was also initially disappointed that the printer did not have a touchscreen or analog menu, but the HP Smart app basically does everything that you would need from a touchscreen or analog menu, so it is really a minor inconvenience. Overall, the printer is great. I bought the HP Smart Tank printer over the Epson Ecotank printer because of the reliability of a HP printer, my familiarity with HP printers, and the ease of customer support. I would recommend this printer to family and friends, especially since the printer is more environmentally friendly and can save money and time when compared to inkjet printers that use annoying ink cartridges.
