Excelent 17.3 inch laptop
HP Laptop 17t-cn300, 17.3" Being used as a Desktop Computer by my wife. We bought a supplemental Keyboard and finger pad. She is very happy with the set up. The laptop fires up quickly and pages appear almost instantaneously. Her Previous HP All in One was a pain to try to use. We liked her new laptop so much I bought another 17.3 inch HP laptop at Best Buy. The newest one has a touch screen.The prices on both were very good- reduced by $500 on each. We are not HP employees, the tb does not de-select. Its not possible to fill out the rest of the responses as they are greyed out

It is not ser friendly
There is NO instruction manual with this computer. It took me 5 min. to figer out how to yurn it on... It is just sitting here doing nothing.... A friend told me I had to print it out. I don't have a printer.

Obsessed with my new laptop! It’s like 3 lbs! I love the large display, the touch screen, the privacy shutter was a nice surprise! The backlit keyboard is EVERYTHING! I’m a blogger and I’m so so happy with this laptop, I’m on it like 10 hrs a day! My only gripe is I wish it had the facial recognition since I built it brand new and for the price, the fingerprint reader is nice though! The battery life also isn’t the BEST but I still LOVE this thing! Such a nice upgrade compared to my decade old HP. Can’t believe I suffered so long lol, I thought that one was great! The graphics on this thing are NUTS as well!🩷

Bare bones PC with no frills on no keyboard backlight
I bought this laptop solely on price, because it was more than half off (I paid $447.29 for a $919.99 system), and it had decent specs: 13th gen Intel i5-1334U processor, 12.0 GB RAM, 128 MB Intel Iris Xe graphics, and 500 GB SSD storage, along Windows 11 Home edition. I must say, the size of the screen is very nice with 17.3-inch diagonal. However, this is a no-frills box. First, there is no touchscreen, which I had grown accustomed to on my previous HP laptop. Second, and most annoyingly, there is no backlighting on the keyboard. If you're not a great typist like me (I can hunt & peck with the best of them), you need a desk lamp or some other means to see what you're typing, and that is very irritating. Beyond this, I had trouble registering the device warranty, as the HP site did not recognize the device product code or serial number, and it took me several days online with HP support to troubleshoot this before I gave up trying. This is like the forgotten child of laptops. I believe the PC is manufactured in Singapore, and it took over a month between when I ordered and when it arrived at my house. Also, after using it for a month now, I can say that it is underpowered and slow. So, although I seemed to have gotten a great deal, you ultimately get what you pay for, and this is not a PC I would foist on anyone I liked.

BUY ELSEWHERE & pay that little bit Extra
I just had heart surgery which is why I'm giving this review as late as it is.
I was advised by my daughter to buy a Laptop (CN2123NR) from BJS & since I'm a Senior Citizen & Viet Vet on a Fixed Income I figured I could get it for Less (cut out the middleman) by purchasing it directly from HP & so I called them & placed the order on 5/22 for that model or an equivalent. I was informed the model # was17t-cn300 17.3 touchscreen.
The gentleman who took my order got one for me for Less Money & even though he was very nice.....some Very Important Details were left out of our conversation that I should've been made aware of. He repeated a date of June 5th several times & so I figured that was when it was going out.
To make a Long Story Short it didn't arrive till over a month Later & upon making inquiries I was advised it was being specially made up in a foreign country (Thailand) which is why it was taking so long. Had I been informed of that information upon placing the order...I would've never ordered it from them, as I called the home office in Tenn. (Thought I was dealing with a USA Company) to place the order. Now I also find that it's either Not a touchscreen or that part of the assembly in Thailand was never added before it was sent out to me.
All in All I should've listened to my Daughter & paid a few $$'s extra & would've had it within 3-5 DAYS...Not Over a Month!!
This is my 2nd HP purchase (1st was a Printer from a store) & I'm very happy with it, but this purchase of a Laptop thru HP directly (Tenn.) was a REAL NIGHTMARE & therefore I cannot recommend the product or the Manufacturer (HP) & Will Not be buying any HP Products in the future.

Upgrade to a new HP laptop.
I am very happy with my new hp laptop, which has everything I need in a computer. It is similar to my old hp laptop, which I used for several years. It was time for an upgrade, and I got a very good deal on this one. I hope it performs well for many years to come.

Computer is nice for regular email and web surfing
The 17 inch screen is nice. I think once you get a 17 in screen it is hard to go back to anything smaller except maybe for travel. The laptop so far has been responsive with the I5 chip and 8MB of memory. The 256GB solid state drive is nice but in reality, you are only left with about 170GB to use. I might have opted for more drive space had I known so much space would be used up even before I got the computer. Setup was easy and updated software had to be downloaded before use. The computer was a nightmare to register as the website was telling me the serial number was invalid. Using the chat feature to solve the problem was fruitless. After several hours on hold and talking to customer service, it was resolved using the HP assistant app. I was stuck in a do loop with the AI chat assistant until I finally located a toll-free number. Access to customer service is almost impossible. I took a star away for this reason. I got the computer on a deep, discounted, very limited time sale which is the reason I got it (and that it is Windows 11). I would not pay the regular price.

This one isn’t customizable. I checked on the similar model that is customizable ending in 00 & it’s $899! No $200 discount! For me the backlit keyboard isn’t worth $200!!!!!

Is HP Laptop 17t-cn300, 17.3" good for light gaming on Roblox? I'm thinking of buying my son a laptop for Christmas and this laptop sounds like a nice and large budget laptop.
For any software, you will want to check the publisher's website for the system requirements to make sure it meets the requirements for the setting you would like to use with that software. Updates can change those requirements which can prevent you from using your preferred settings or stop it from working with your device. With online software, your internet connection will also impact how well it will run. Roblox will currently run on this device.
