Powerful laptop and excellent price
Very fast Intel Core Ultra 5 processor. 14 cores and 18 threads. I love this new keyboard design with the rubbery keys. It is very solid and not flimsy like some previous HP laptops. Nice backlight too. Great 1080p screen. Laptop is not heavy. FINALLY: USB-C connector allows charging the laptop as well as screen, Ethernet and USB ports through a hub. Just plug in a single USB-C cable and everything in the office is connected. Very impressed. And I purchased it at a very competitive price.

USBC is useless on this laptop
This is not a laptop for work or those who would like dual monitors. The USB-C only supports data transfer. This is a terrible experience for me and further reason to avoid HP products.

Mr.
The Bluetooth does not work properly. It picks up some available devices,(like printers) but ignores Bluetooth speakers, soundbars and nearby TVs.

Good product for the price
Needed to upgrade my laptop and this is doing the trick. I like that I was able to customize it to my needs and the website was pretty easy to use for doing that. Not sure why I waited so long to get a newer model.

Incredible Deal
I bought this for roughly $240 after tax on sale, and it was an incredible purchase. The laptop is performs super well for everyday tasks and even light gaming.

Keep looking...not a great laptop.
This PC is barely worth the $250 I paid for it with the touchscreen option. It is certainly not worth the $450-$750 HP wants for it on a regular basis. The outside is made of two different colors of plastic that scuffs super easy. Under normal use the system gets very, very hot and it has shut down repeatedly. It also drops WIFI, Bluetooth and freezes regularly. Battery life is barely two hours under normal use.
With my background, I am able to upgrade the RAM and hard drive myself but HP can’t seem to locate the N58364-001 or 79U70AA 8GB DDR5 5600 SODIMM NECC stick in their inventory. I had high hopes for this PC with the Meteor Lake U-processor, backlit keyboard etc. but sadly it is a fail that I will just deal with until I can afford to get a different brand. I use a HP Z book at work and it required a new system board 18 months after purchase. Thankful it was under warranty.

Perfect for college
This was perfect for college, I was using an older 17" HP and it was just way too bulky and really heavy. This laptop actually fits on the desks in lecture halls and the screen is really good I can actually see outside on it and even inside when the lecture lights are beaming straight onto the screen

Cheaply made. HP after-sales support is a total shambles. Returning for refund. Very negative experience all-around.

Good laptop for the price if you score a deal
The top most shell is metal, aluminum I believe, which is better than I expected. Overall good experience with this laptop, for the price I payed at 450 in May 2024. The battery can be improved though. Get the factory memory upgrade as you won’t save much by DIY. The memory is from micron in case you need that info.

Touchpad is not great
It's ok. The touchpad doesn't work great. Sometimes the right click menu comes up when I am not clicking the bottom right corner. It is also super sensitive and I changed the sensitivity to low.

Battery life
Not impressed by battery life. Wanted "free" Outlook but impossible to get it without buying Office 365 that we didn't want.

Happy With My HP Computer
I am quite pleased with my new HP computer. Besides the normal features you expect in a computer, I also got the Back Lighted keyboard and the Scrolling Up and the Down feature. and I am very happy with both.

Beware of no monitor support via USB C
I wish I would have known that the laptop does NOT support an external display via the USB C port. The original salesperson actually tried to sell me a dock which I did not but at first. I purchased a dock later only to find out that it was useless because the only way to connect (a single, not dual) monitor was via HDMI.

Its been a long time since I had a laptop because they were so slow. This laptop has good speed and is easy to use. I'm learnig to get used to Win 11 OS vs the Win 10 that I was so familiar with. I like it!

Horrid customer service
HP generally has good products, but their customer service is soooo poor I cannot recommend purchasing. If you do, make sure it isn't from their HP store. Go to Amazon, Best Buy, anywhere else.
