HP Work/home/school laptop
This is a great laptop to use for home/work and office. It comes preinstalled with Windows 11 so it may take getting used to for those who are still on Windows 10. I love how fast it is and it was an easy setup. It takes about 30 minutes to complete if you have an existing Microsoft account. A bit longer if you don't. The Battery life seems to last a really long time on this computer. I did notice the fan stayed on quite a while during setup but finally stopped. The laptop is really fast and I can have multiple programs running a the same time without a loss of function. The size is perfect for the business owner and the student alike. It is a very lightweight computer Just to be aware, the power button is at the top where the function keys normally are on a keyboard so you have to look for it to find it. The graphics are phenomenal! The sound is really good. l was amazed at the sound clarity in this computer. If you need a great computer for your office/home/school, don't hesitate on this one.

Great laptop
This laptop looks slick. Other than the great looks, it's very functional. The battery lasts almost half a day without recharge. The screen quality is great. The tactile keyboard and the privacy webcam shutter are nice additions. The GPU is fairly decent. I was able to run MMO and FPS games with acceptable performance lagfree.
It came with Windows 11 pre-installed and was a breeze to get the latest updates and configured for use within 15 minutes. I would highly recommend this laptop for daily use as long as you don't need to run resource intensive tasks.
The specs are a little on the low side when it comes to memory and HDD and some features like backlit keyboard and fingerprint scanner/face ID are missing, but they are justified for the low price.

Wow!
This laptop has surpassed my expectations. It's easy to use, although I'm still getting used to Windows 11. It took me a little time to set it up, about 40 minutes, but once I got going I was totally wowed by its performance. So far, it's definitely meeting my needs. The battery life surprised me. It lasts a long time compared to others. The sound quality isn't the greatest but I'm able to enjoy listening to my downloaded music files. The screen size is awesome as I don' find myself struggling to see what's on the different sites that I visit. Also, for work use, it's been great so far. I'm able to navigate easily from the sites that I use. The fact that it quickly boots up is a definitely plus because once I'm ready to work, I don't need to wait forever to get started. In addition, it's a lightweight device which is another plus. I'll definitely take this with me when I travel because it's not bulky like laptops. I love this laptop.

A little different from my previous HPs
1. Sometimes the display gets bigger and I don't know what I've done. None of my previous HPs has done this.
2. Why can't I close windows with a left click on the keyboard mouse? I have arthritis in my fingers and sometimes that is just easier.
3. I still have not received the documentation for my extended warranty, even though it was "escalated" a few weeks ago.
4. I like it, but some of its features or quirks are driving me a little nuts.

Machine Perfection
I received my computer this morning and all I can say is it is beautiful. It started up in seconds, Quietly...no weird cranking sounds. It took about 30 minutes to set it up and do all the updates and it was ready to go. It is amazing the speed this machine has. The feel of the outside is very unique and I love the 2 tone blue/white of the outside. Picture graphics and sound are 1st grade. I love that the screen is anti glare and there is no reflection. I have been using it now for 7 hours straight and the battery is still at 60%. I don't think I have experienced this before. I transferred my data from my old computer with Bluetooth and by logging in and syncing all my accounts in minutes. I can truely say that the only thing that would make this computer absolutely perfect is if it was touchscreen. That is the only thing I miss not having. Thank you for this amazing opportunity.

Awesome laptop
Been working on my computer all morning and all I can say is it is fast. It started up in seconds, Quietly, didn't hear motor at all. Once the updates were completed it was ready to go. The outside 2 tone colourway has a nice look to it. I was able to pull old documents from my flat drive and the picture graphics were way better than i remembered. I love that the screen is anti glare and there is no reflection. Battery life seems to be pretty good, i haven't plugged it in yet and I've been on it fur a few hours. I didn't realize when logging in that it would automatically sync all my accounts. I wish they still preloaded computers with office, but they did offer a discount on download. I thought it would have been touch screen but it's not. Overall this laptop is pretty awesome and a great purchase.

Sleek, speedy and very portable!
When I received my HP 15.6 inch Laptop and unboxed it I was immediately wowed by its looks. The blue cover / front looked pretty sleek. I like the feel of it and your fingerprints doesn't stick. The 15.6 inch screen seemed nice and big and it was great watching my streaming videos on it. I like that HP tried to have the screen as wide as possible and the smallest amount of black sides on it. The picture quality was clear. It was enjoyable to watch videos on it. The laptop speakers though were lacking - sound was not robust. So I wouldn't recommend using the laptop speakers for watching videos. I was also wowed by how small the "brick" charger was. It was miniature size and easily fit in my laptop case. I like that portability was definitely one of their priorities even with the charger. The laptop weight was also pretty good. Not as light as I thought but definitely not that heavy. The laptop itself seemed very speedy. I was surfing the web with a bunch of browser tabs open, playing videos at the same time as well and I had no issues or slowdown. There are two USB ports, one USB-C port and an HDMI as well. I wish they had an SD slot as well. The battery was also very good. It really did last long even when I was playing videos. I wasn't able to test it for 11 hours but I can believe it. When I was browsing the web and playing videos after several hours, the battery was still topped up. I left it at 28% and closed the laptop. The next morning, it still had a juice and didn't power off like my other laptops if I left it on all night. I plan to test out some more and put a video editing software and see how that fares. But I have to say I love this laptop and this HP is the one I'll bring when I'm traveling. Oh and how can I forget - I love that it has the numerical pad! You don't know how much usefulness there is having a numerical pad. Now I don't need to bring a bluetooth keyboard and that helps for sure in traveling light per se.

Great Laptop for home-work use
This laptop has a lot of things going for it! First the speed of the processor makes it fast for videos, doing the things that you do daily like web browsing and homework. The size is perfect not too big and comfortable to use. It has great sound and a nice camera. The tasks are done easily on this laptop. I totally recommend it.

Light and Mighty
I just had the pleasure of receiving and testing the HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fc0037wm. My first impression was that it has a pleasant design aesthetically amd was veryy lightweight. After letting it charge fully,I powered it up to get the ball rolling on its initial setup. After going through the first boot up,I logged into some of my accounts to sync my data over to this new laptop. This didn't take long at all and before I knew it, I was checking out my regular sites and streaming with no issues. I feel that the only reason that I didn't rate it as a five is that it doesn't have touchscreen capabilities, the keyboard isn't backlot and their isn't a fingerprint scanner. My previous laptop passed all of these functions and I found myself missing them when using thus laptop.

Awesome laptop!
This HP us a great laptop for me. I just stopped working out the office and needed something quick and reliable for home use and this is an awesome laptop to have. It’s quiet and reliable. I love the fact that it’s fast charging and stays charged for up to 11 hours. The blue color is just a pleasant touch but it’s nice to me! Also it’s lightweight and not heavy so that’s another plus.
Now let’s get down to basics! This laptop comes with windows 11 and the processor and RAM memory work great and the speed is great for what I need. It loads fast and I have had no issues and/or problems like with my old laptop. The graphics are clear and the images look perfect. The screen has an anti-glare display and looks fine. The 15.6 inch screen works well and is not overly big and not small. I can’t find anything that I don’t like with this laptop except that it’s not touch screen but I guess I can live with that.
I would definitely recommend this HP laptop to all who are looking for a reasonably priced yet well designed laptop!

Slim and sexy
I was very excited to see this arrive! I actually joined this campaign so I could catalog and upload old family photographs. This has been a project that I have been putting off for years! I will also use this laptop for networking and keeping in contact with my family that are long distance.
It is so slim and light! Connecting it to my Wi-Fi and booting it up was a breeze! The keys are smooth and only require a light touch for response. I love HP so I am anxious to move forward with my project.

Nice everyday laptop
It has been awhile since I last used an HP laptop so this is a good comeback! AESTHETICS: I'm LOVING the blue color!! It looks very elegant and subtle. KEYBOARD: The full keyboard is a really great feature compared to other laptops I've used. For me this is a huge bonus. The keys are good in size and easy to type with and makes the normal amount of noise. MOUSEPAD: This is one of the downsides for me as it's not the most sensitive and a bit hard to control. I will attach a physical mouse to it. DISPLAY: good size for daily tasks like checking email and watching videos. Screen looks clear and it has anti-glare feature. SOUND: very clear and good quality. BATTERY: pretty long lasting for me to use around the house and for traveling. SPEED: Setup took a little longer than I expected. For daily use though this laptop is pretty fast with no delays. Overall a pretty good basic laptop for basic tasks.

Best Laptop Ever
Initially, I was hesitant with this laptop. I thought anything under $500 would come with it's own set of problems. Now, after using it, I can admit that I was way off. This laptop goes above and beyond any others that I've had or used in the past. The speed is amazing. The capabilities are beyond what you would expect or need from a midrange computer these days. Awesome Laptop
This laptop is Awesome. I use it for home and work to keep up on so many things - financial activities, movies and TV shows, gaming, reporting, and so on. The processing speed is super fast and I never run into lag on anything I'm watching or listening too. The screen size offers plenty of space for multiple windows and activities to do be done simultaneously. I absolutely love the amount of battery life I get as I often move around the house and outside to the garage - no worries about it shutting down in the middle of what I am working on.

Great Work Laptop
I have been working remote on a smaller laptop. Just received this laptop and have been using for work. It comfortable to us for hours at a time. Love the 15in screen and the keyboard is very comfortable. Also battery life is amazing able to charge and use the entire day. Does not weight much so I am able to Use the laptop in bed. Great laptop overall

Just as economical as a Chromebook, and better
This was a needed upgrade to my goto Chromebook. There are just some programs that need a full operating system no matter how well spec'd a Chromebook is like podcast production. I have a fairly powerful desktop that I use when home and did not need that all that power when I travel, this HP is economical enough and powerful enough to run windows 11, without any hiccups as well as produce podcasts.
The screen is perfect for what I need to do. I have watched a couple of movies and it looked fine to me. The keyboard also is easy to type on, I am not picky about button travel and would not know the difference . I know that I type and it responds. Battery life has been great- lasts all day when I am out. I have NOT run the battery down yet, but will do so to see how much time I can get out of it.
Windows is responsive. I don't detect any lag in opening programs. The WiFI connects quickly.
I did contact support- because I want the laptop to lock when I close the lid. The support is broken into hardware issue and Windows(software issue) I learned this the hard way after wasting a lot of time using HP support. Since this is a software issue- this has not yet been resolved. I did not like that if I had a hardware issue , everything is taken care of by chat- and that was slow and painful

Great Little Laptop
This is a nice replacement laptop for me. The design is sleek and the laptop is lightweight. I can easily take it on the go without being bogged down. It is a basic computer with no fancy bells or whistles but the processor is quick and it is great for my everyday use. It came with Windows 11 preinstalled and set-up was very easy. The only issues I've had is that the number 2 key on the numeric keyboard has not functioned properly since day one. I am going to contact HP warranty service and will update my review when I see how this issue is handled.

Basic laptop for home use
Received this laptop last week. It was pretty sleek. The setup took me 30 minutes and was easy. The windows 11 android integration is really making my use case simple. I was able to get my messages and calls notified on my laptop. Pretty sleek.
Apart from that this blue color is good looking .
The ram and memory can be a bit better. 8gb ram is visible on the performance. Installing the apps take time.
If you don't mind the little bit of slowness, this will be a perfect laptop for your daily usage.

This laptop contains recycled materials and ocean-bound plastic demonstrating HP’s commitment to sustainability while creating a beautiful and durable product. It has two USB-A, one USB-C, HDMI, and combo headphone/microphone jack. The 45W power brick is compact, charges quickly, and the battery can last over 11 hours. The laptop weighs 3.5 lbs and travels well.
Inside are a Quad-core AMD Ryzen 5 7520U 4.3GHz max APU, integrated Radeon 610M graphics, 8 GB RAM, and 256GB SSD. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed, and there’s 190 GB of free space out-of-the-box; for additional space, attach external drives via the USB 3.2 ports for up to 5GBps transfer rates. The computer is responsive when running applications, browsing the web, and performing typical computing tasks like word processing and spreadsheet work.
There’s a 2.1 MP webcam with built-in privacy cover and dual-array microphones for video conferencing on-the-go; its resolution is 1080p with good image quality and audio captured was clean without any background noise making it a good option for virtual meetings and live streaming.
The screen has narrow bezels and is not a touchscreen. It has a 60fps refresh rate at 1080p FHD resolution, but lagged in games with high graphics demands. Watching video content, however, was very smooth. Its anti-glare coating reduces reflections and improves visibility in bright light, though lowers contrast somewhat. The panel’s 6-bit color depth can look washed out and may not be accurate enough for artists and content creators, however, you can get around this by connecting an external display.
It is very quiet even with its CPU fan running. The small speakers on the bottom performed great, with clear and crisp sound, and the trackpad is large and responsive to taps, swipes, clicks, and multi-point gestures. The keyboard has soft, springy keys with large lettering, however, is not backlit.
Overall, this laptop is good for work, school, and casual use. The screen is large but still portable and lightweight. It boots quickly, has lots of battery life and decent processing power.

Lots of power for a little price
I purchased this HP laptop because after five-plus years of service, my personal laptop decided it was done unexpectedly. I was expecting this HP laptop to be a budget-friendly device that could do the basics. I was NOT expecting it to be able to handle absolutely everything I've thrown at it! Huge spreadsheets, 30+ chrome tabs, large word files, minor video editing - all have been no problem for the HP laptop.
When I purchase a laptop, my usual routine is to upgrade the RAM to maximize the power and extend the life of the device. I was disappointed when I saw that this only had 8MB of RAM and couldn't be upgraded. I'm pleased to say that this device has handled everything as well or better than devices with more memory and bigger processors. The Ryzen R5 processor and and Radeon graphics have performed absolutely brilliantly! 8GB has been more than enough for movies, gaming, and big spreadsheets.
The case feels solid and the screen is bright and vibrant. I like the compact power cord. The battery has lasted for hours at a time on a single charge and recharges itself quickly - perfect for when I had a short layover between two long flights. I keep telling my wife that I cannot believe how nice of a laptop this is for the price - under $500 at most retailers. For what we paid for my son's chromebook, this is a fully functioning laptop - and a really nice one at that!

Excellent Performance and Easy Setup
The HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC is an excellent addition to my home office. This product is amazing in quality and clear picture quality. I love that it has 8GB Memory as I do alof of home made projects and use Canva extensively for my librarian job. The high quality camera that comes along with it can be closed when it is not in usage. I can feel the quick processing when working on any project. This laptop is made from recycled plastics which is excellent for our environment. It contains the Windows 11 Home Operating System and is also easy to turn on at a press of a button. The setup was easy to do without excessive instructions. Overall I love the crispness of the laptop, the brilliant colors on the screen, the beautiful usage of memory and capabilities and the awesome use of programs that allow for me to create the best work possible. I highly recommend the HP 15.6 inch Laptop for reliability, value and performance.

Efficient entry level laptop for home and office u
HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fc0037wm was ready to set up and customizing was straightforward. Initial set up managed through your Microsoft account duplicates the settings and programs from my previous device. I still needed to add apps, extensions and other custom settings. Make sure to give yourself a couple hours to cycle through updates, install, etc.
It is a solid processor for home and office use and decent graphics for limited online and gaming. I would have preferred to be able to update/double the RAM but the system isn't designed for expanding.
The laptop does exactly what it is set up to do and does so efficiently and quickly for most home and office use.

Power Punch for the Price
The laptop is thin but a little bit on the heavy side. However, it is still very portable. The internet connectivity is stable and fast. The processing speed is great and allows for fast streaming and typing up papers a breeze. The sound qaulity of the speakers is good and works well when on a zoom call or streaming music.
The wide screen makes watching moves possible and battery life is ok, laptop lasted about 4 hours before needing another charge.
At this price point it is a pretty good buy as opposed to a netbook or chrome book.

LIGHTWEIGHT LAPTOP WITH LOTS OF SPEED.
This laptop has exceeded my expectations. The speed, the battery life, and how easy it is to add attachments make this a nice PC replacement. Setup time including the transfer of material off the old laptop took me 20 minutes. The AMD Ryzen 5 chip has as much speed as my older I7 chip, which was a surprise. Pages are opening fast, my Office 365 apps open without any lags, and the battery life seems to last forever. I had surgery and I was able to use this pc for a few days without recharging it. Two updates were sent by HP, and they updated without any errors. Super impressed by the current results.
