    So I have the app on my phone, and when I use it to print pictures, it ends up printing on regular paper instead of the photo paper. Now when I use the HP eprint app (which is retired) it works like a charm. Why is this?

    Hello. Thanks for your question. The HP Envy Inspire 7255e printer does not have the ADF (Auto Document Feeder) on top that would allow to you scan up to 35 pages. We recommend looking at the HP Envy Inspire 7955e printer which does have the ADF. The height of the HP Envy Inspire 7255e printer is 7.5 inches. The height of the HP Envy Inspire 7955e printer is 9.17 inches.

    It does have a USB B 2.0 female port on the back that you can use a USB A to USB B 2.0 cable to connect to. The printer itself does not come with the cable. This setup link https://support.hp.com/us-en/printer-setup/hp-envy-inspire-7200e-series/2100385901/model/2100402069 does show you multiple options for connecting the printer. The orange box near the top right in that link is for HP+ Support and is free with your printer if you need help setting up your printer and for troubleshooting.

You can check under the settings with the one that says Setup, you can see the user guide http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c07773132.pdf there and see there is an option for the touchscreen to change to black and white.     No, according to the listed specifications this HP ENVY Inspire 7255e All-in-One Printer is compatible with: 3.85 x 8.5 to 5 x 12.2 in. Legal size is 8.5" by 14" and will not be compatible.

    I purchased this printer for my son for his college dorm 7/22/22, he just set it up and the carriage is making a loud jamming sound everytime it tries to move to the left. And it will not work. Of course it is passed the 30 day return period at Staples
