But with an older generation processor, it was getting a little sluggish. I watched numerous Youtube chromebook reviews and finally settled on the HP Dragonfly Pro Chromebook. I have been using it for a week or so and absolutely love it. Of course it has fantastic specs, but the intangibles including the feel of using it is just wonderful. I usually have mine plugged in, so I can't speak to battery life yet, but from what I've read, it seems reasonable. It's so much snappier than the Pixelbook - it's a delight to use. So far no complaints. With it's Linux support, I've installed Obsidian and VS Codium and they work great.

White wasn't my first choice, but it's grown on me and I do like that it doesn't show fingerprints. My only complaint with this laptop is the poor viewing angles on the display. It's not the end of the world, but it does mar what otherwise is a stellar laptop display.

Very weird and sensitive click on the track pad...it takes a while to get used to it and I was clicking things I didn't want to click when moving the cursor. Sound is very very good and I love the white color as it rivals a mack book or other silver laptops.

I noticed that you can get ChromeOS or Windows 11. If I purchase the ChromeOS version and don't like it for whatever reason can I then install Windows 11 myself?

No, the HP Dragonfly Pro Chromebook is designed to be compatible with Chrome OS. Trying to install Windows could hardware driver issues and is not recommended.

If it is touch screen, am I able to use the laptop as a tablet? Like in a 2 in 1 configuration? If not, what is the max radius or degree to which the laptop can be bent back?

No, this HP Dragonfly Pro Chromebook is not a 2-in-1 configuration and can't be used as a tablet. This does have a multi-touch enabled screen but will not be compatible with an Active Stylus. This will still be compatible with passive stylus pens. Like the active stylus, you can tap or write directly on a screen with a passive stylus (also called a capacitive stylus). But unlike an active stylus, the passive/capacitive stylus doesn't have touch sensitivity or electronic components. There's no communication between the stylus and the device.
