I can get photograph quality prints on the right paper. The cartridges do not need replacing very often. I always buy hi-capacity cartridges. It is a top drawer product which I am happy to use. I know I have consistent print quality. The printer drivers are always up-to-date. Installation is never a problem. But... That's really just way too much money to charge a loyal customer. I have been using HP printers for my home and personal business printing for fifteen years. I am extremely satisfied. I understand what goes into the technology. I have worked for many computer and software companies and even a plotter manufacturer in Sorrento Vally, California. No problems with my satisfaction. It's just way too much money to charge someone who is in your corner. I always recommend HP to friends. I have never settled for inferior printers. This avoids all types of headaches and problems. I paid $187.44 for four cartridges. That's nearly $47 each. There should be some type of discount for an order that large.

I thought I ordered a 61XL black cartridge as we were out of black ink. I’m not saying whose fault it was, however for what happened. I went back to try and find my original order, but I could not find it. In any instance I have an expensive color cartridge that we may never use. Therefore, I’m mot sure if my two star rating is fair. I’ve had good results ordering from HP before

In this case, and with multiple tries, it is clear that HP ink cartridges do not work with HP printers, and I am out money for a printer, for many unusable cartridges, for my lost time and other expenses, and the HP people never could figure out or fix the problem, they burned up so much time that they finally said the warranty expired and then I was abandoned. After being a long time customer, my recent experience with them has been horrible.
