Toner replacement
First time in two years I needed to purchase new toner. It was a little confusing at first because there are so many types of this printer and some of the them use different toner cartridges. Measure twice, cut once and the correct toner was ordered and arrived in a timely fashion (COVID-19 permitting). After disinfecting the box, the installation was easy and returning the old cartridge was simple. I gave it four stars because the cost (as usual for cartridges) was a little high. Great printer though so you get what you pay for.

Received Used Cartridge
When this cartridge was installed after being opened from the sealed box and protective wrap, the printer said it was a used cartridge and didn't go through the process of verifying I had installed a new HP cartridge. Very unhappy to pay full price for a new cartridge and receive a used one.

Great product
We received it quickly and it works great. States it prints about 2,000+ pages but I feel like it last more than that. My last carterage lasted me 2 years while I printed lots of research papers during my Masters degree. Hoping this will last the same.

Looks Great; Cartridges Exhausted Too Soon
I use my new laser printer (my first laser) for home-based work and specifically chose one with a higher monthly duty cycle. I needed speed vs. my old HP inkjet and am very pleased with the laser's performance regarding both output speed and (spectacular) print quality. However, the (black) cartridge must be replaced WAY too frequently. I've tried both the 305A and the 305XL, and the number of pages I have gotten out of each seems similar (maybe 500 pages). The documents I print are text heavy, but I think my old inkjet printed more pages per ink cartridge than the 305 toner cartridges do. At $90 -- $120/toner cartridge, the laser printer is not proving cost-effective. That's quite disappointing. But I need speed when printing under deadline so my inkjet isn't an option. I've owned HP printers since 1997 and this is the first time I've been disappointed in the number of pages output per cartridge. HP, you need to troubleshoot for better performance from the 305 toner cartridges. I can't recommend them.

What HP printer uses 305A cartridges?
The HP LaserJet Pro 300 color MFP M375 series and the HP LaserJet Pro 400 color Printer M451 series units use the 305A cartridges. Those units have been discontinued and are no longer in production.
