Per my previous question. We purchased this phone and only have laptops. We have a wireless server with no access to the network server. Is it possible to hook this phone up directly to a laptop to use with MS Teams using an ethernet adapter?

How is the OS on this phone upgraded if there's an upgrade available?

Also, upgrades can be downloaded to a USB Drive from the Poly website, then plug in your USB drive to your phone and follow the instructions.

We only have laptops and do not have any ethernet ports. Is there ANY WAY to hook up this phone to a laptop? We can buy adapters but what do we need to get to make this phone work for us?

To install a Poly CCX 400 Business Media Phone, connect an ethernet cable from the phone's LAN port to your network switch or router, then power on the phone; it should automatically launch a setup wizard to guide you through configuring your network and other settings; if your network supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), you may not need a separate power adapter; ensure you have your SIP credentials from your service provider ready to input during the setup process.
