Great 4K video editing.
Bought this so I can handle 4K video editing and it handles like a champ! Went with the i9 processor and 3060 TI GPU and it’s more than enough for YouTube videos.

So Far, So Good
I've had it for a month now and use it exclusively to run X-Plane 12 flight simulation. So far, so good. It seems to be up to the task of dealing with the demands of X-Plane 12's graphics capabilities. CPU and GPU temperatures have been very reasonable.

OMEN Light Studio - Epic Fail
Gamers can't manage the LED lights on a HP OMEN gaming system while using a gamer account (standard user). An administrator must log in to manage the LED lights, however upon Admin log out, those changes do not map over to the gaming account when the gamer logs back in. As a result the LED lights default to their brightest, most annoying flash pattern as a default setting for the gamer. Forcing a gamer to run the workstation on an administrator account 100% of the time just to manage the LED lights is an epic cybersecurity failure.

Quality Competitively Priced
Flashy lights, tons of RAM, and a NVIDIA GPU that's only slightly smaller than a mid-sized sedan, the HP OMEN 45L with the Intel Core i9-13900k is a PC screamer that's cool to the touch. Though not inexpensive, the OMEN 45L is competitively priced - about on par with building it yourself - and easier to order, customize than a pizza. Having owned close to dozen HPs over the past 25-30 years, the OMEN 45L is by far the best designed of the lot. Plenty of room to expand, it's a PC that will likely serve you well for years. I'd recommend HP again without hesitation.

With only a single audio out jack on the back of the PC, how does one connect 5.1 speaker system to the OMEN? Is there a card that needs to be installed? If so, where to buy it?
It varies depending on your setup. The single auxiliary port will work with 5.1 Surround Sound if you a 5.1 capable sound bar, receiver, or newer computer speaker setup that has auxiliary support. You can also use the HDMI with most of those same configurations that have HDMI input. Some of these setups for PC also now come with DisplayPort also capable of giving you 5.1 audio. Configurations can vary depending on your setup.
