"Missy" indicated that the down load would indeed recognize the existing software and update accordingly. Being skeptical, I waited until now to download the new product so that if the new product didn't update properly i wouldn't lose any more than a month of previously paid for service. The new download did in fact update properly as "Missy" indicated, installed properly and appears to be working well. Three cheers to "Missy" - all went well, and thank you all for the excellent service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Safe browser from Purchased McAfee LiveSafe 2 Year through HP I purchased this product via HP because the price for a 2 year subscription was great. However, when it came time to download link to install, HP neglected to "Activate" the card - causing me to spend a whole lot of time on the phone with McAfee getting help locating my purchase via HP and activating the card. I have no idea why HP sold this product without allowing the card to be 'scratched' by the customer? This ended up being a HUGE amount of time and inconvenience. If you purchase through HP, be sure that they have done their job correctly on their end before ending your online or chat or phone call with them.
