Amazing Producr

Works like a charm
I bought a new HP laptop and was surprised when it didn't have an hdmi port. I connect my laptop to view videos and stream to my television. HP was extremely helpful in finding this solution. It plugs in the USB port (has to be a specific type) and no degrading of videos quality. Very happy I didn't have to return my laptop.

Right product for what I needed.
I bought an HP monitor a few months ago. When I had time to rearrange my workspace and set up the monitor, I realize the default cable shipped with the monitor didn't have the correct connector end for my surface laptop. This adapter was just what I needed (USB and HDMI adapters). A call to HP service desk confirmed this was the part I needed. It arrived the next day. Now I can work using the 23" HP monitor instead of the tiny 13" surface screen.

HDMI adapter (USB c to hdmi)
This adapter is fantastic ! It did exactly what it should do which is you can see everything that's on your phone on your TV sets. The only problem is( which I just found out )my dumb phone does not have HDMI support so you can see how disappointed I was but my son's phone does so he has a new toy to play with ! Lucky him :-) It's very easy you plug one side into your phone and the HDMI side to your TV and walla your tv displays everything on your phone. I actually bought it to watch from a movie site you can only get on your phone to make the screen larger. It us a fantastic gadget but before you buy make sure your phone support s it. I have a 4 yr old Stylo. 4 from LG. Now I'm just waiting on my laptop from you so I'm excited about that !!!! May 2021 be a better yr for us all !

Is this an easy set up for a 2nd monitor? My HDMI port on my pro book stopped connecting to HDMI monitor port that works with fine another laptop.
The USB-C port on the laptop must support display. Not all USB-C ports and enable with this capability. However, if your USB-C port does have DisplayPort this is a plug-and-play device. Thanks for your question!
