Perfect laptop!
I had been using a desktop PC for years. When it failed after 8 years, I decided to change to a laptop. After consulting with some computer experts, I decided to order the HP Pavilion 15. Delivery via FedEx was quick. When I received it, I was able to set it up and begin using it in less than an hour because the set-up instructions were so complete. The laptop has functioned perfectly so far. The only negative things are the numerous advertising short cuts pre-installed on the laptop and the flow of junk email.

Great Christmas Present
It's fast, it looks good, It's light weight (compared to my 3 old HP laptops). It works great with external optical drive and BT mouse. I love the touch screen and back lit keyboard. Overall, it was a great Christmas present for myself.

Prints fine, wi-fi support is horrible
Printer manufacturers need to spend an extra $1 for a better wi-fi chip. They are using old tech that does not support current bads, channel width nor security. Printers should be easier to set up.

Ordering was OK. Delivery was pretty quick. So far, I'm really liking the laptop. I would liked to have gotten some instructions on the capabilities. I'm older and going from a desktop to a laptop and some things are very different.

Not happy with the build quality. It gets warm easily even when it's just switched on. The return policy is so bad that can't return also as 15% restocking fees is to be charged. Overall very dissatisfied. Not gonna buy HP products again.

Laptop is great. However this rating for the customer service. the promised delivery time in the email...took weeks it was promised 5-7 business day. I had to wait more than 4 weeks. So technically I loose 1 month of warranty. No proacting calls or emails from HP CUSTOMER service. I called them several times. Excuses are out is FEDEX problem

My old desktop was a USL08JM. It had right and left click keys below the touchpad, which I miss on the new model, especially the right click. Otherwise the new model is great. Getting used to it.

Display quality is poor!
I bought this laptop for my wife to replace an aging Asus laptop. The speed is great and ease of setup was very nice. However, the quality of the display either hardware, software or both has been a major difficulty for her. The screen has plenty od brightness available but image contrast is a real problem. We have tried on kinds of software settings in Windows 11, none are adequate! We have discovered no controls for the videocard that can help us.

can you ad 2 monitors if you use a splitter
You can use a splitter, but it can degrade the quality of the pass through, and it will not separate the screens. The external would then be a mirror. The USB-C on the device does include 1.4 DisplayPort, so that would be another option for a second display that would not be a mirrored.
