Until HP improves their shipping boxes, I would not recommend ordering a monitor online... as a minimal bump on the package resulted in major damage to the upper right quadrant of the bezel. The replacement came today and it's fantastic, but the whole experience burned up a couple weeks of staring at my new Chromebox and not being able to use it. (Major snowstorms) Best to buy it at a store, guys.

    On VESA mounting, this product says it is "VESA mount compatible" but another monitor says it is "VESA 100 mm x 100 mm." Is there difference? Would the same VESA stand work with both?

    The 100MM by 100MM is the VESA mount standard for computer displays. The VESA mount standard defines the dimensions of the four-hole attachment interface on the back of displays and the screws used to fit those holes. It also dictates the placement of the hole pattern on the display.

    I just bought an HP P27h G5 FHD Monitor, but I noticed the resolution is very poor. It is connected to my laptop with the HDMI cable that comes with the monitor. Am I doing something wrong?

    Can you stream services like NetFlix using this, or is this strictly to use WITH a computer?

    Thank you for your question! The HP P27h G4 FHD Monitor cannot stream by itself. An HDMI streaming device or a PC is needed. Most streaming devices use HDMI to video out so a PC would not necessarily be needed.
