Rated 5 out of 5 by RCLAB from Great laptop at a good price. A great laptop. I got it on sale, so a good price. Keyboard is awesome, even though it has less travel than some, my accuracy is much better than my Lenovo Yoga. Screen is bright and clear. It's fast enough and has good battery life. Much faster than my previous 11th gen laptop. The SSD is a Samsung and super fast. Two things I would change are adding a USB A port and putting the delete key in the corner instead of to the left of the power button. I knew both these items existed before I bought it and have no buyers remorse and still think it's a 5 star laptop. No laptop is perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by David_Lee129 from Overall good laptop but beware of quality control issues Overall, I'm happy with HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14", given its OLED screen, tactile keyboard, long battery life, and adequate performance as a thin and light laptop. However, there are a few things about this laptop I'd like HP to improve. I bought this laptop on sale but its original retail price is a bit hefty for the average consumer. Also, I waited for a long time to receive the laptop because HP didn't have the actual stock when it went on sale for Black Friday, and perhaps for the same reason its construction feels a little rushed: e.g., when I press the bottom part of the screen lid, it makes a slight squeaky sound, which for a premium laptop should not have occurred. My partner got the same laptop (though 16 gigs of RAM as supposed to 32 gigs) a month later from Bestbuy which did not have the same issue. I would recommend that HP improve the quality control of their products, which should be as good as they can get for the money we pay. Also, since HP is one of the few OEMs that still makes 2-in-1 laptops, I wish HP could launch a trade-in programme like Apple so that customers can upgrade their laptops when new models come out. For anyone else interested in purchasing this laptop, as long as your computing needs do not involve any software engineering or heavy video editing, for web browsing and general productivity, the Intel Lunar Lake processor (Ultra Series 2) in this laptop will suffice. More importantly, because Lunar Lake processors are limited to a 30-wattage power consumption, the battery life on this laptop is excellent, roughly on par with that of a M3 MacBook Air. Also, Lunar Lake processors have the latest Intel integrated graphics which is a lot more powerful than Intel's Ultra One series processors, this laptop can play most games on a medium setting and still get excellent frame rates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AmazingSpan from Nice day to day laptop! This laptop checks all my list! 1. It is light weight, similar weight to my iPad prod with keyboard so no complain here. 2. It is better than iPad because it runs windows and I can play some old games like Heroes of Might and Magic III! 3. I have all my devices in USB-C so I really like the design that cuts USB-A ports of this laptop! 4. The flip mode allows me to read books or PDFs! I use it everyday and I am thinking about selling my iPad! Few improvements I suggest: 1. The sound quality from buildin speaker needs to improve, it is not as clear as any of my Apple devices. 2. No software to limit the charging limit to 80% ( I set so to all my devices to enhance battery life); 3. The screen rotation seems buggy: very occasionally I open the lot with the desktop still upside down. In general I like it and I use it everyday!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Zebbah from Good product, bad defaults Compact, light, great keyboard, great display, fast, set up was easy, in fact there were only three things I did not like. One was that it only allows one person's facial recognition to log in that I know of, 2 was that two of the USB drives are located in places that don't allow attachment of normal size flash drives, and the other one is more of a general dislike of newer technology encouraging saving things to the cloud. When I left clicked the cloud in an attempt to disable it, naturally it started uploading all of my documents and pictures. I googled how to remedy the situation and was able to remove them from my Microsoft account and then I right clicked the cloud icon on my taskbar to unsync it from my Microsoft account and finally I actually uninstalled the software for it. I'm also trying office 365 for the first time and had to go in and change the default save location from OneDrive to a local location of my choice. Otherwise I would have given it five stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TDaddy2015 from Excellent 2-in-1 I no longer consider myself a power user, but I do have high demands of the MS Office Suite apps. I've found the performance of the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip excellent, as well as the screen, keyboard, and trackpad. The pen is adequate for my needs but probably not precise enough for creators. I've had no compatibility issues. I've enjoyed using this lightweight 2-in-1.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dave.B from Good but proceed with caution for a now This is a great machine. There are issues with the Bluetooth stack but there are solutions posted on the web, the easiest of which is disabling the device manager ability to control Bluetooth power. The biggest concern though is the fact that Intel under its recently ousted leadership indicated the Lunar Lake chip on this device is one and done. For that reason alone it makes sense to wait till at least mid 2025 before picking one up, to see what direction the new CEO of Intel will do, and see what MS does with the next SurfaceP (if they use this same chip, its probably a safe bet), or to perhaps go with an AMD chip device (avoid ARM chip devices for a few years, at least, bc of the lack of peripheral support and oft questionable software emulation).

Rated 5 out of 5 by P100D from Best 14” laptop you can get. One of the best laptops I ever owned. Amazing keyboard and touchpad, great build quality and screen. Battery life is crazy good as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Ryan C. from Great laptop, lots of bloatware. The laptop itself is quite excellent. The prepackaged software is unfortunate, requiring a reinstall of a base copy of windows.

Rated 4 out of 5 by E-man from Almost perfect.. This laptop checks almost every box for me. Only thing holding it back from five stars is that the screen doesn’t look as good as the cheaper Lenovo Slim 7x it is replacing. For some reason it has a gray tint which kind of defeats the purpose of OLED. Not sure if it’s faulty or the result of some kind of anti-glare coating. Pros - design & build quality - great keyboard - haptic touchpad - Windows Hello login - solid battery life - light/moderate gaming capable - 120 Hz touchscreen OLED Cons - OLED screen is very gray. Don’t get deep blacks expected of OLED - encountered a bios/firmware issue that resolved itself and hasn’t shown up again.

What is the estimated battery life of the “best value” and “performance” configurations?

Asked by: Oas243
There are no estimates available for each configuration. However the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip Next Gen AI PC 14-fh00 series typically has a battery life of up to 16 hours and 15 minutes. MobileMark 25 Battery life will vary depending on various factors including product model, configuration, loaded applications, features, use, wireless functionality, and power management settings. The maximum capacity of the battery will naturally decrease with time and usage. See https://bapco.com/products/mobilemark-25/ for additional details. Based on HP’s internal analysis of next-gen PC’s with a 40-60 TOPS NPU as of the date of this answer. Battery life tested by HP using continuous FHD video playback, 1080p (1920x1080) resolution, 200 nits brightness, system audio level as image default, player audio level at 100%, played full-screen from local storage, headphone attached or through speaker (if no audio jack port), wireless on but not connected. Actual battery life will vary depending on configuration and maximum capacity will naturally decrease with time and usage.
