Rated 4 out of 5 by Physineer from Nice PC if the pen worked. The PC is quite nice with a beautiful display. The pen interface is where it loses a star. Could be an issue with HPs pen or the PC. Customer service / tech support could not solve the issue. Tried two different pens.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MY Wang from One of the noisiest laptops in the market with little to no support. I got this laptop for about a month. The computing power and screen are great, but the broken software and system management really make me want to return this laptop. I have everything up to date, system, driver, BIOS. 1, There's no battery charging limit you can choose, common option of 80% or even 60% is not available. 2, It's really noisy on idle or doing simple work like typing. The fan tune on this laptop is so strange. It starts blowing hard as low as 40C CPU temp and desperately trying to keep CPU below 70C. This fan makes it the noisiest laptop in the market. No other brand or model does the same. usually fan start running quietly from over 60C. This laptop supposed to run cool and quiet, but the fan ruin it all. Unfortunately, you can't change it, no option in BIOS or any of the HP apps can change fan tune, live with it or return it. It was designed to be like this. Good luck to all, stay away from this laptop if you need a quiet one for working.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ATL_Wolf from The OmniBook Ultra Flip is a very good 2-in-1 laptop Overall, the OmniBook Ultra Flip is a very good laptop. I have 1 year old 2-in-1 with an Intel Core Ultra 7 155U from a different brand I was never quite happy with (battery life was lacking and the cooling fan ran constantly even when running on battery/setting the best battery life power option) which sent me looking for other options. I tried out three options before settling on the OmniBook. For the OmniBook, I used the CTO (configure to order) option and went with the Core Ultra 7 258V for 32GB of RAM. Pros: - The chassis itself is very sleek and feels great in hand, no sharp edges anywhere and feels very durable - The OLED screen is fantastic and can be set very bright when needed - The haptic touchpad is excellent and offers the ability to click anywhere on the surface (even directly under the spacebar) - The backlit keyboard has good key travel and feels sturdy for a thin and light laptop - It's nice to have the 2-in-1 option - particularly if you purchase/use the stylus to draw/mark up things on screen Other noteworthy items: - Battery life is good at roughly 8.5 hours, but certainly not stellar - I expected more based on reviews. Though HP does use a smaller 64WH battery in the OmniBook vs. what competitors use, so it's not surprising - The speakers are decently loud and clear but won't win any competitions - The stylus/pen doesn't magnetically charge, it charges via USB-C instead - The system comes with a bit of unnecessary bloatware (I always reformat/reinstall Windows on a new machine anyway, but it's worth noting as most people won't go that route)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from The Corvette of Premium Thin/Light 2-in-1 Laptops This laptop is my personal casual use premium laptop. It keeps port selection minimal making it an amazing secondary laptop that compliments your primary utility laptop as it fills the void for dedicated pleasure just like a corvette would in your garage. Many may complain about the lack of HDMI, USB-A, and maybe even Ethernet, but they shouldn't be treating this laptop like it's a Camry. It is high performance in the sleekest and lightest weight form factor... a true sports car. That being said, the aluminum build feels sturdy, but this could potentially be even lighter and still relatively strong using magnesium. I have a 7 year old magnesium built 14" LG gram 2-in-1 that's almost a half pound lighter than this Omnibook. And that has a broad port selection. I figure if its ethos is minimalism, why not double down on the sleek and lightweight attributes for future iterations. Let the Omnibook Ultra sit clearly above the the Envy or new Omnibook X models. Let it be more than just a refined version of those other models. Its a Corvette, but let it be the Ferrari it wants to be. Nevertheless, it is priced well enough to not just be aspirational, but actually tangibly obtainable especially when on sale. Its relative value as a premium device may be its greatest attribute. Although it doesn't directly cater to gaming, media consumption, developing, and creating, it has elements that can be appreciated by each of those users. It has an Omen key that entices you to try a little gaming. It manages to keep the pause/play key which is super convenient for listening to music while multitasking. I just wish it had the forward and backward media keys; Audio is very impressive. It has a the power and versatility for all kinds of creators and artists; Whenever you look at its Atmospheric Blue finish, you get a sense of inspiration and are reminded that you poses something unique from the sea of greys. And it achieves all that without compromising its goal of being a unapologetically minimal. The ergonomics are fantastic. I love the clever placing and the reliable strength of the magnetic mounts on the lid and on the sides of the laptop for the stylus. No matter how you're using this device, the pen can be attached without getting in the way or lost. The smoothed out edges are comfortable on the wrists. There is minor light bleed form the borders of the keys, but its not irritating and barely noticeable in most viewing angles even when using it on your chest while laying down. They keyboard itself is satisfying to type on. The glossy screen can be fatiguing for late night use, but overall its color vibrancy along with its durability for touch and 2-in-1 contortions is a worthwhile trade-off. The privacy camera is appreciated, but the finger print sensor doesn't always work on first contact forcing you to expose the camera for windows hello for quick access to the laptop. This should be addressed especially on a portable 14 incher that doesn't have a number pad for quick pin entries. Overall its great. It is the kind of laptop that serves as a relatively affordable halo car that can absolutely lure buyers into HP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Frank from Covington from Coming back from Mac This laptop is the fastest that I have ever had. I didn’t buy it to use as a tablet but for the specs. This is my first Windows laptop since Vista. I use Windows at work and noticed how much better it has become. My last MacBook was Mac Pro M2. This HP blows its door off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gail T. from Quality Product I am enjoying my new laptop. I love the quality of the picture, speed and size. The only thing I would change is the location of the jacks and wish it had a HDMI jack.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Casey089567 from HP still strong This is my 3rd touchscreen ultraportable laptop from HP (Spectrex360 early gen). I do love its customizations, features, capabilities, but I miss the separate home/page up/down end rows/keys even though we can FN/direction keys those.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anthony T. from Great laptop for my family compute needs! It was time for me to replace our older HP family laptop and this OmniBook Ultra Flip 2-in-1 laptop meets our compute needs. This is a great product! This laptop only has USB-C ports so if you have USB-A cables, you will need a USB-A to USB-C converter. I purchased this converter ahead of time knowing no USB-A ports but that is not a problem at all. Battery life is acceptable, even with power profiles to save battery power. The included pen works well. Overall, I'm very happy with the laptop.

What is the estimated battery life of the “best value” and “performance” configurations?

Asked by: Oas243
There are no estimates available for each configuration. However the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip Next Gen AI PC 14-fh00 series typically has a battery life of up to 16 hours and 15 minutes. MobileMark 25 Battery life will vary depending on various factors including product model, configuration, loaded applications, features, use, wireless functionality, and power management settings. The maximum capacity of the battery will naturally decrease with time and usage. See https://bapco.com/products/mobilemark-25/ for additional details. Based on HP’s internal analysis of next-gen PC’s with a 40-60 TOPS NPU as of the date of this answer. Battery life tested by HP using continuous FHD video playback, 1080p (1920x1080) resolution, 200 nits brightness, system audio level as image default, player audio level at 100%, played full-screen from local storage, headphone attached or through speaker (if no audio jack port), wireless on but not connected. Actual battery life will vary depending on configuration and maximum capacity will naturally decrease with time and usage.
