Brand new and junk right out of the box.
Won’t be buying another HP. Brand new out of the box; I try to use design.cricut.com that came pre-loaded on my brand new computer and it won’t open. After several attempts with HP customer service, I was told it was a virus and I would have to pay for HP to fix it. Nope. I’m now unable to use my favorite craft site design.cricut.com that is a subscription based site. No crafting for me now. I’m retired and was really looking forward to doing more crafting after getting a new HP. My other one was worn after going through teaching/guidance from home. I can’t afford a new one. So sucks to be me. I’ll never buy another HP again!

Set up process not quite as easy as it should be. I still can't get itunes to play through the headphone jack. It looks like I have to chose headphones or speakers when my prior HP's automatically detected headphones and matched volume controls to the device.

Problems getting it to work
This purchase has not been easy one. The computer took almost 6 weeks to get to me and the set up has not worked yet. The battery won't charge so I have not even been able to use it. I'm not aa computer repair person but I did not expect to start out with a new computer that is suppose to be the top of the line and have all these problems. I can't even get it register to use the warrenty.

Laptop itself is a good product for a reasonable price. A major problem was preloaded One Drive which automatically forced cloud backups into a very small 5GB storage, which when full almost immediately caused problems opening many files. Many people do not want to put their data in the cloud, encrypted or not, as they do not trust its privacy, or else, do not want to pay for a forced upgrade to a larger storage.

I am very pleased with the general usage, fast and comfortable. However, when I set up my computer Microsoft took it over and I had problems with the one drive. I called HP support and was transferred several times, and much to my disappointment, no help was given.

Thank you for your question! The RAM can be upgraded, but there is no additional storage drive expansion slot. An external storage drive can be used, however.
