Streak damaged prints!
The printer works reasonably well, but the photos that it produces are very flawed. The prints are disgraced by the streaks that are left behind by the printing process. The printer doesn't run smoothly and the start and stop of the printer, I think leaves the unsightly lines in the photos. I would never give away a photo produced by this printer. The end product fails the smell test. And there is no where around where I live to get it fixed!

My new printer
I have not opened the box yet. I believe that it was sold to me under false pretenses. Almost as soon as the purchase was made, my original printer that had mysteriously stopped printing with blue screen/error message began to work again. This was also after I spent 1hr&57min on the so called HP "help-line". Wow!

Good While It Lasts :)
Replacing a 3.5 year old same model - plastic roller parts & hinge on printer cover broke. In spite of that we chose to purchase another one since the print quality is very good, particularly for the 11x17 landscape designs I print for my business. It scans multiple pages in the feeder well too, although they're often slightly crooked. Wireless easy to setup w/computers, simple to save to thumbdrive, HP Smart helpful app, controls are intuitive. Overall we're happy with it.

Defective new printer returned and cannot get a refund from HP
I received a huge very heavy printer that didn’t work. HP picked up the printer one week ago today and I still do not have my refund and have not had any communication from HP regarding this.

Although a good printer, the fact that hp only wants their ink cartridges used and blocks other ink, is ridiculous. HP has lost a loyal customer as I have only used hp printers. Not anymore!

Great printer Wireless setup was extremely easy to setup.The one negative is: I have problems dealing with touch screens in general, this touch screen is no exception. It is nearly impossible for me to get to do what I want it to do on the first attempt. I usually have to make 6 to 12 attempts before I am successful.

Difficult setting it up
It has been very difficult to get it set up and printing correctly. First it wouldn't connect to the wifi. I got that solved, then it wouldn't print anything but the first few lines of a document. I fixed that. Now it won't print the top of documents that I need to print double-sided. I still haven't figured that one out. And it is very important for my work that it able to print double-sided.

Nice but a bummer about the 11x17 paper tray.
So far, it is meeting my expectations. I must say I am disappointed in the 11x17 tray that it sticks out. It looks unprofessional and allows for dust to get into the drawer. There should at least be a cover attachment to place over the open tray. The option is to not keep paper in the tray until needed. I may have chose a different printer had this been disclosed.

I love the printer but I found out the hard way that it is not compatible with 5 ghz wi-fi. I spent hours on the phone with tech support and they concluded that the wi-fi access to the printer will only work with 2.4 ghz. I am going to use it with a USB cable. This is not what I prefer, but I need the wide format printer.

There was barely any ink in the cartridges and this office jet pro is "not eligible" for the ink subscription. We also have had more paper jams in a short amount of time than we ever had with the Office Jet 9010 all in one. All the printers should qualify for the instant ink. Total inconvenience.

So far the printer works fine for printing. Have not set up the scanner yet. Says I need to create an account for the scanner. Why? I already have an account with HP for the printer. Some of the printer set up was easy. Some was more difficult. The app was not all that easy to follow.

Phenomenal Printer for the Price
I've had the HP 9019 for more than 3 years and love it. Could not believe I could get the wide format for the price, I've always paid more than $1,000. Quality is the best I've seen on a home printer, love the two paper drawers. Highly recommend.

Incredible value
It was on sale, but even at regular price this thing would have been a bargain. The scanner is just ok, and the fact you can't scan to a network smb or ftp is a bummer, but as far as actual printing, and the fact I can load 8.5x22 AND 11X17 in separate drawers at this price point is crazy. Prints quality is perfect for general office use. No, this doesn't print copy or scan at the same speed as the $20,000 leased machine we were using, but in today's environment where are print needs are 1/10th what they were 5 years ago, this thing is a steal and is the perfect small office printer. Bought the 3yr advanced exchange warranty too, so for the first three years it's HPs machine to maintain, but so far no signs of any issues and were two reams of paper in.

It's an HP need I say more?
It's a great printer, scanner and copier. I needed the 11X17 format but unfortunately it will not copy 11X17 on the flatbed: You have to scan it first and then print to make a copy. But it's fast and easy to set up. It's larger than I would have liked, but I'm getting used to it!

For years I have purchased "ONLY" HP Products and this is the very first time I have been disappointed. The day before I received this printer my mother passed away, and we had to go out of town to take care of issues regarding her death. My granddaughter was here so she accepted this item. when we got back the next night I tried to set it up and had problems, so I contacted support. He helped me with trying to set-up the printer. It showed that the tray was the problem. He told me that he would have new trays sent to me. The top tray opens but the bottom tray will not open at all. I need this printer "NOW". How long before the trays come? And is there good instructions for their installation? I could have just returned this item and you could have sent me a new one "without any problems with it"!!!!!!!!

Good prints, but setting it up was difficult. Loading the ink cartridges was frustrating. Received error messages. Very poor instructions. Got through it, but still not sure how to make settings. Trial and error. Still can't communicate scanner with computer.

I have a dual service that supports 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz. Will this HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer work?
The Officejet Pro 7740 Wide Format will recognize the 2.4GHz to connect and it should not be an issue. There are other factors we cannot determine, but 2.4GHz also tends to have the longest range and speed to connect to the printer plays a smaller factor in comparison.
