Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Awesome laptop not so great battery Solid computer. Runs as expected. Wanted a middle of the road laptop for some gaming and some productivity things. Runs the games I play pretty well at normal settings. This is a 4star review because the only caveat with this computer is the battery life. It really isn't so bad when you're browsing the web, but when you happen to be playing a game (of any kind) as expected it drains the battery- way faster than you would expect. I'm talking about you got an hour or so until you better get it plugged in and charging. Still happy with the laptop, would like a little more life out of this battery though.

For any software, you would want to check the system requirements from the publisher's website and make sure the device you want to run it on meets the requirements for the setting you would like to use. This HP Laptop 17-cn0097nr does not have a touchscreen display. Optical drives are being discontinued. Just like with floppy disks, serial ports, and zip drives the majority of customers are no longer using these drives. A highly recommended workaround is to use an external USB CD/DVD drive.

It does have an HDMI port to support one external monitor, but supporting a second display would not be likely and less likely with HDMI. The USB C port only supports data transfer and not display, and this unit has standard USB A ports.
