Great performance and great price!My new Envy desktop was easy to set up and get going right out of the box. It included an impressive amount of performance for the money...an upgraded video card; plenty of RAM and an upgraded CPU. It has plenty of USB ports, although it is a bit challenging to identify which have upgraded capability.

Up and running again.I was replacing my eleven year old HP Envy desktop that died during a series of intermitten power failures. The hard drives were ok but the motherboard was fried. Was able to set up the new desktop easily even though I was unfamiliar with Windows 11. Having so many USB ports on both the front and back of the new PC made connection of peripherals easy. I was able to restore all of my data from the hard drives I pulled from my old desktop as well as an external backup hard drive. I scavenged the DVD/Bluray drive and connected it externally to the new PC since this model has no DVD drive. I have added a UPS battery to my configuration to keep power outages from causing problems. The new PC is faster and slightly smaller than my last unit. It is a pleasure to use.

Be aware that changing to a more powerful GPU may result in needing a more powerful PSU. The PSU in this HP ENVY Desktop TE01-4050 is a 400 W 80 Plus Gold certified power supply.

Thank you for your question! This HP Envy Desktop TE01-4050 PC has a 13th Gen i7 processor(i7-13700F). This Desktop is preconfigured and cannot be custom-built by HP. This desktop does feature two M.2 expansion slots for SSD though.

Thank you for your question! This HP Envy Desktop TE01-4050 PC has a Realtek RTL8852BE Wi-Fi 6 card installed. This will be compatible with almost any wireless router. To get the best performance a WiFi6 or better router is recommended.

Wait a minute. When I checked with David on the chat, he showed me that this has a 600W PSU. How can it run a NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3050 with only 400W? I believe this requires at least 550W. Please double check. I may need to cancel my order.

Hello. Thanks for your question. There is no option to customize this HP Envy Desktop TE01-4050 computer.
When you get the computer, you can upgrade to Windows 11 Pro through the computer. Press the Windows logo button. It is to the left of the space bar. Type Activation. Once the Activation window opens, select "Upgrade your edition of Windows". Click on the down arrow. Then, select Open Store. Finally, you would select Buy to Upgrade to Windows 11 Pro.
You can see the cost of Windows 11 Pro in the Microsoft Store. Search for Windows 11 Pro. Then select Learn More to Upgrade to Windows 11 Pro.
