Prints very nicely.not nearly as noisy as its replacement. Already received paper and ink first month out. Plastic parts are very flimsy and fragile, that’s why I rated it the way I did.

I loke the idea for the convenience, however if one doesnt do a lot of printing, it can be expensive.Like it but can be expensive. I had the ongoing subscription with my previous HP printer , so i assume it will be similar service.

HP ENVY 6455e Printer
This printer shipped quickly and was easy to set up. So far, it works great. I miss having the control panel on the printer, but something I'll get used to. I wasn't aware it only duplexed when printing, not copying. Again just another extra step I'll get used to. I was surprised to get InstantInk cartridges a week after I received my printer, which already had cartridges. I'll have to take a look into it. All in all, I'm happy with it and couldn't go wrong with the price!

Replacing an old HP
I’ve always had an HP and they have been reliable. This replaced one more than 10 yrs old. I like the size and style. Easy setup if you download the app. Only downside there is a whistle noise while turned on so I’ve resorted to turning off when not printing.

Five years ago HP could deliver an all-in-one (6978) that could duplex scan to my door for $120. Five years later, HP appears to have forgotten the decades of improvement in the price/features ratio and can’t offer a home device that duplex scans. Downhill.
